Anthony Whatley

Will have a go later, thanks

Danny Rooster

Hey. Try to open new project in Orca, put the .3mf files in it and it should import the UJ model (cube in my case) together with the settings. Then you can save the settings in the Orca and you should be good to go.

Gabriel Buitron

I just got a Neptune 4plus and this settings work incredible, I use the PETG profile and it’s perfect, thank you so much, I just open the square and save all settings and use that as a preset and that made the experience of Neptune 4 plus a great experience I bought it because I watch your videos, thank you :)

Anthony Whatley

Can anyone explain how to upload these profiles to Orca please?

Anthony Whatley

I keep getting this error when trying to upload the json files using the import function, any ideas. How do I upload these. There are 0 configs imported. (Only non-system and compatible configs) Hint: Make sure you have added the corresponding printer before importing the configs.

Alex Rickman

hey man, do you have any for a 0.6 nozzle?

Dissyllabic

yeah, N4Pro PETG profile help plz :)

Luis Gonzalez

Hello I am new to Orca Slicer, would I be able to use this profile for the N4Pro, or is there a way I can just keep the printing settings for Orca Slicers default N4Pro profile?

Stefan Cristian

For a N4Pro orca slicer profile ???

Jason Surber

I could not use Jessy's settings as the jerk was just way too high and causing layer shifting. I went back to the stock configuration files that Orca now has and everything is printing perfectly; albeit a bit slower. Now the issue could be where I have my N4M sitting; I have it on an industrial shelving unit and when she gets to shaking, the entire structure shakes. I may play with the settings in the future as I loved seeing how Jessy's settings were taking what used to be 3 day prints for me and reducing them to less than 1. The settings I am using now are still reducing print time (new machine with klipper) but to reduce even further would be great.

Anderson Ledward

I'm new to orca slicer and 3d printing in general, but how do import the profile?

loserorangeboi

when will be getting the profiles for the 20 min benchy?

Golden Phoenix Cosplay

Neptune 4 pro profile soon ??

Aj Pierce

Mine is stringing really bad. Is there an adjustment I can change to make it better?

Pete

I have the orcasliser with my Neptune 4 plus seem to be getting a lot of stringing is there a fix for that yet

Dane Geddes Buehre

did a change ever get made to the profiles to decrease stringing?

Chris Nicholson

Hi! Total newbie here. I noticed in these profiles they are titled as having a .4 nozzle. Is a nozzle replacement necessary for these profiles to be used?

Garrick Stricklin

Will this work for the Neptune 4 pro?

Antonio Reinaldo

I get it that the n4 plus and max are neat and all, but I think that you could give some love to the n4 and n4p. I have an n4p and would really enjoy seeing an orca profile for her. And by the looks on the comments, I am not alone

3DPrintUniverse

Will you release an orca slicer profile for Neptune 4 pro as well? Thank you!

Vann Chapman

Just got my N4Plus today and already printed the Bency straight from the included thumb drive. That thing is stupid fast! Nearly slung the printer off my table. The print turned out great though. I have installed your Orca profiles and they are working great so far.

Honestly I've learned a lot over the last week. I've had to pretty much learn to program at this point. I feel like I could program a Voron or a Ratrig at this time!! From what I can tell is there seems to be an issue with how the moonraker interface communicates with the Fluidd/ Klipper interface. It does appear that the newer FW updates may have fixed it but not 100% sure. There are some FW versions are not loading the Z-offset and bed meshes, and that the printer config file isn't set up to load the bed mesh at the right spot. I've used stuff from the Neptune Discord to help me create my own. I haven't had a chance to test it yet, I'm currently waiting on someone who knows more than me with this style of code to review my work.

Noel Tompos

I would be very happy if you could share what you learned.

Tofer Wescott

I'm having issues with speed settings in Orca with my Neptune 3 Max. Did you share your profile for that printer yet or just the 4s?

Christopher Grace

I've been looking into this since last night, and just looked through other profiles available. This seems to be more of an issue with missing line in the printer config file. I am currently teaching myself everything I can about it to try and work out a fix to share.

Christopher Grace

funny enough, I was just looking at this myself. Im doing a but ton of research into this. It looks like there is one of two issues. I'm looking into both. One is either having to edit the printer config files to include the M420 and such, or editing the printer profile to match the config file. WOrking of figuring out which way is the correct way/ best way.

Tony

also after doing some further looking. it doesnt call anything for the bed mesh....? am I missing something here?

Tony

Hey, so I have been using your configs for orca slicer. I looked at the Gcode youre using for these after slicing. It is using some Marlin codes like M420 and M413. M420 isnt recognized by klipper and is supposed to run the bed mesh. Is this something that is pulling the wrong code for loading the bed mesh? and should we be replacing it with something else for klipper to pull the bed mesh?

Salvador Moura

Will you be doing a profile for PETG?

Rick

I got the Neptune 4 Plus a couple of weeks ago and have switched to Orca to use this profile. I've had great success with my Neptune 3 Max, but with the 4 Plus I keep having issues with the print adhesion. Maybe it is a speed issue? On my 3 Max it is never a problem and have never needed glue. With the 4 Plus I've been using glue and even a raft. Was printing a shoulder armor piece yesterday and it got about 95% completed and came off of the bed. Any suggestions?

Trent Ward

Is there a simple instruction on loading the profile for orcaslicer, I cant seem to get it to work well without changing a bunch of other settings and havent found the info on youtube yet

Ghali

Iam sorry to say it comes out very bad. Not working at all.

3D Pathfinder

Also I'm not sure how to install this. Also I can't connect wireless to my printer yet, issues so when I export sliced file to SD card , do I just drop the 3mf from the end of the gcode or what.

Kilad Dalik

Nice ! Thank you ! Can I use them in my N4P ? Just need to redefine the bed size right?

Jason Myers

any update to the profiles to get rid of the stringing?

Jim

also wondering this

Vaeron

Any chance we can see a petg profile? I keep struggling with that material.

Stefan Cristian

It will be awesome also a Orca profile for N4Pro and N3Max

Bignrich09

Mine strings really bad with these profiles

Roberto Hernandez

how do i imstall these on my orca slicer

Jackson S.

Finally thank you!

Bryan B

OK, I figured that might be it, just usually see 0.16, 0.20, etc.

Jackson S.

i believe it is layer height. .2,.24,.28 mm

Bryan B

Dumb question, what are the measurements in reference to with the file names? 2mm, 24mm, 28mm?

Golden Phoenix Cosplay

Amazing, loading this up now! Are you planning on a Orca file for the Pro printer as well?

Itai Rosenbaum

+1 to a N3P profile :D

Carsten Schmidt

How are you profiles different from the ones that come with the latest version of Orca?

Nik

My max has been printing so slow is this a little bit faster? Took me 230 hours to do a helmet hoping I can have a few done before Christmas lol

Uncle Jessy

heck yeah! I still regularly use my n3 plus and Max. Excited to get those built out. especially with the larger nozzles

Jeremy Davis

What about profiles for other Neptune printers? As in the 2?

R5duvy

Dumb question. Do you plan to post the Orca Profiles for Neptune 3 or 3 plus? Just downloaded Orca last night so I could give it a try.

Uncle Jessy

No, I rolled back to those from the 4 Max for now while I work on tweaking some of the settings for faster prints. And YES!! Hurry up with those nozzles

Jamie

Lovely. Are these different from the ones posted earlier? Also -- still looking forward to running larger nozzles! Come on, Elegoo!
