Mod Highlights
Traits Matter: Couch potatoes need a lot of motivation to get up and start exercising; Ambitious Sims progress much faster.
Painting Requires Skill: To prevent Sims who hate art from painting (via player intervention), using the easel now requires at least level 1 in the Painting skill. This means you’ll need to take a class or buy a book before starting. Alternatively, you can begin by sketching drafts in the sketchbook from University Life.
Relationships Open Doors: Mentors (Sims who have already mastered a skill) can accelerate skill progress. The slower skill progression becomes a powerful feature, highlighting many other mechanics and ways to progress that wouldn’t be explored if progression were too “player-friendly.” This also includes potions and other methods to speed up progress, such as becoming a supernatural creature.
