Okay hear me out… so you’ve done Oppenheimer and now this with cillian Murphy as well so you’ve gotta check out Peaky blinders!! In my opinion it’s his best character, his acting is off the charts (along with his co-stars) and also in my opinion the Shelby family is up there with some of the best gangsters in movie and tv!! Hope you guys do check this out in the future🤘🏻

Rob OnlyRoss

Also, thanks Answer for doing sign language at the beginning<3

Whitney Ulerio Duverna

You guys should do the trailer reaction for the 3rd one!

Tomasina Hill

Did you guys spot James Madison/Hercules Mulligan from Hamilton makes an appearance as the cop. Fun fact is the actors nickname is also Oak

Lauren

I love this second movie because it’s somewhat of a coming of age story for the kids. They both have to face their fears and prove themselves. It’s so powerful seeing both of them stand up against the monsters at the end. I also love the juxtaposition between the evil people at the boat and the community on the island. It really shows how people can really handle tragedy and chaos in such different ways.

17:45... I don't want to speak for everyone in the comments, but its fine if you have seen the movie and are still reacting to it. Even if all four of you had seen it, I think we all would like watching you guys react to it. As Quinn said last movie, you catch new things when you are watching a movie for the second time (or more).

Dee

Seeing Marcus get his leg caught in the bear trap tears my heart out of my chest every single time. Seeing your kid in incredible pain and instead of consoling them, you can only beg them to be quiet and encourage them to get up and go so you guys don’t die🥺😫 Excited for 3!

Katie

I feel like most people would find it very risky to test out the higher frequency. I mean if it didn’t work you’re going to die lol. Solid film for a sequel. Sequels always make me nervous 😬 Monster movies are easy to pick apart but also gotta suspend belief a lot with them and enjoy it for what it is

Trying to come in completely blind for that one 🤘

Thought you guys would react to A Quiet Place 3 movie trailer at the end when you mentioned it 👀

Funny and interesting tip: The scene at the beginning where Diamond says "that was an awesome scene" or something along those lines, was something that happened in the moment, the camara in the car was being hold by something and that something broke and the camara was askew but when they saw the scene John liked it a lot and left it there. Also, I liked they showed the monsters here, why keep the mystery if we already know how they look like? of course the movie has questionable things but we still love it xD Loved the reaction guys, thanks a lot!!!

For me, the first movie was definitely better. I was in the cinema for both, but the experience from the first movie was so intense. The Road is a must see! Intoxicatingly slow, hopelessly depressing, with all shades of grey, dirt you can't wash off and a vision you can't run away from. Thank you for reaction guys!

Verity

Thanks for the fun reaction guys, I'm happy you enjoyed the film 🥳

I really like this film. My only minor criticism is, it picks up immediately after the first film ended but the child actors have clearly grown, especially the boy. I think they could’ve done a time skip instead. Maybe I’m a visual sort of person, but I love the minimal dialogue in these films, Fury Road etc. It lets me soak in the camera shots and the facial expressions more. The actors convey their emotions and thoughts so well without words that you almost don’t need dialogue. Also, I love this performance by Cillian Murphy. His character is pretty generic - a gruff, grizzled loner who reluctantly becomes a surrogate dad to a young girl, we’ve all seen that before. But he brings a lot of vulnerability and expression to the role which elevates it. Btw, have you guys seen him in Sunshine (2007)?
