I just started to play the game right after i watched the show, and it is so much fun, can't get enough of it!! Also nice to know a little bit about the lore from the show before going into the game. Hopefully you guys do a playthrough in the future!

To answer what Oak said about the writing. This show is an original script. It does not borrow any story from the previous games. Like Todd Howard said, the CEO of Bethesda, this show is like a new game but in a video format instead.

Yeah, poor people and the military. It's obviously super salty but it really does taste good. I mean, it's a HUGE part of Hawaiian cuisine for a reason.

For sure. New Vegas is great and the setting is closest there to what we're seeing in the show, no doubt about that one.

By the way guys: I'm watching the wrapup now, and you're noting stuff that's on the terminals and I'll give you the heads up right now for when you start playing games, the terminals almost always have interesting little background side stories and that's where you find most of the lore - particularly the terminals in the vaults. So you'll probably wanna read a bunch of the stuff on those terminals when you get around to playing.

Agree on Fallout 4 probably being the best entry point. Plus, given it just got the next-gen update (though I've heard there are some bugs with it), it'll look BY FAR the best.

Chet is one of the stealth MVPs of the season. He's so damn funny. EDIT: Also, Oak, when you said, "It's gonna be the Commonwealth isn't it?" it took me a second to realize you were talking about TWD, because the Commonwealth (aka Massachusetts - mostly Boston but a few places outside of it too) is where Fallout 4 takes place.

there's debate between which is the best fallout game but imo fallout 4 would probably suit the channel the best since it's the most beginner friendly and widely accessible/enjoyable title in the series for casual gamers

spams amazing there's a reason its 5-6$ a can now when it used to be poor people food. Everyone realised how much you can make with it and it tastes good. Sounds like Dave's never tried Spam musubi, Spam fried rice, Spam and egg omelets, etc etc.
