OAK! You absolutely hit the nail on the head at the end there!! not only are Jack jacks powers representing him being a baby (and his name describing his powers) but the WHOLE FAMILY as well. Dad or Mr incredible represents the father being the man of the house and being the foundation and STRONG for the family. Elasta girl represents moms and the whole family needing her attention so she STRETCHES to be everywhere at the same time and to be available for the family. Also showing how moms can be stretched thin. DASH is very fast, having super speed to show how hyper young boys can be. Violet having ultra VIOLET radiation and showing how young girls are sometimes reserved and shy but grow with confidence. And of course Jack Jack being a representation of all babies, being very unpredictable, not quite having a solid identity yet but having many to show that they can be anything they want when they grow up and also being the JACK of all trades.
