Pros and cons to be considered are;
For Hollow: it's just better in most conceivable ways, but there will be less interaction with shinigami characters and some of them will prolly die
For Shinigami: Bankai. Everyone knows Bankai is fucking awesome, and there would be a much larger pool of romancing options, but there will prolly be a lot less wanton murder than as a hollow, so it'd be less action packed

yeah, but I was reading into it and arrancars don't have like a spirit or anything in their swords, nor do they really have a proper special ability like bankai's do. It's like, Hollow is the better option for the sake of the entire story, But... Bankais are so fucking cooooool
