[ How to use ] 🌱New Card Farm 2 - Grow crops and flowers by new flashcards learned (Anki Add-on, For Patrons Only)

[ 📖 How to use ]
When you download the add-on, the crop heatmap will be added to Anki's home.
If you review your new cards, you can plant crops.
[ 🌽Growing crops by New cards learned ]
Crops grow by the number of new cards learned.
Flowers grow to maximum at 20 and crops grow to maximum at 30.
If you find them difficult to grow, you can optionally change the calculation method of the cards to be a little easier.
[ 🧑🌾Farmer ]
Farmers are shown on the right side of today's heatmap.
When your Streak is 7+ Days or higher, the farmer will wear a Cow Costume.
If you find this distracting, you can optionally hide it.
[ 💬Tooltip for new card ]
Mouse hover over a crop to see a colorful tooltip.
The color will change depending on the number of new cards you have learned.
[ 🥬Change Crop ]
Click on Crop in the heatmap to change the Crop to whatever you prefer.
If you set the option to random, the crop will be changed randomly when you reload Anki's home.
[ 🔎Change Size ]
You can change the size of the heatmap from the options.
The maximum is 64px.
10px is the same size as the review heatmap.
[ 📅Crop Planting methods ]
You can change the crop planting method to whatever you like from the options.
For example, if you select Year, all the crops will be the same, and if you select Day, all the crops will be different.

Download the .ankiaddon file and open it with a double-click, or install it from the "Install from file" menu in the Anki add-ons management screen. Hi Kappa Sama thanks for the support and reporting the problem. Maybe the add-on's time is incorrect for some reason, I'll try developing an option to manually change the time, please wait.

Hey, I live in France and I'm having a little problem with the add-on. This morning (Friday) I saw 51 new cards, then this afternoon when I went back to the app, the number of new cards was 0. The add-on thinks it's Saturday instead of Friday, because when I look at the box associated with Friday, it's correctly marked "51 new cards." The box circled in blue is for Saturday, not Friday... Anki is synced to the correct date and time, so why is the add-on a day off in the afternoon? Thank you so much for your work!

Thanks for the feedback! :-) I think to do this we need to either modify the original review hitmap externally or create a new add-on for the review card. I will look into it.

It bothers me that I can't increase the size of the normal review heatmap, so I can have both this addon and the review heatmap be the same size (e.g. 20px)

Thanks for the recommendation. If I make it completely free I can't invest in future development, so for now I'm trying to add more content and lower the price per add-ons. E.g. at the moment there are about 27 items, so if a patron downloads them all for $5 and cancels the subscription immediately the price is about 20 cents per item. If I add more content it will become more affordable.

If you could add an option to directly show the number of new cards in the gird instead of pixel art that would be **chef's kiss**

Hello thanks for the support! I have not developed that option yet(I'll check back later), I wanted to grow it by 10 cards but could only find pixel art up to 30. For now there is the function to change the color of the tooltip: 0 gray 10 Light blue 30 Blue 50 Purple 100 Light purple

Awesome! How to change the calculation method though? 30 new cards are too low for my goals. I need it to be around 150.

Hi! So I downloaded this and everything works great I just wanted to know how to change the color of the calendar squares right now they are like dark gray and I would like to change them to a lighter color.

Hello, thanks for the support! For now this add-on does not work on mobile, it only works on Anki for desktop. In the future I plan to develop tools that work on mobile using a server, e.g. leaderboard is similar to that.

Hi, I really like your work and wanted to use it today, so I fixed the error by using get() method for receiving data from yesterday, rather than the initial method. Now, it works fine even with a new profile :D
