Alpha v8.2 and Twins Plans
🕑 Added 2026-01-26 10:17:24 +0000 UTCOur plans for v8.2 consist of adding some animation and gts behaviour variety, add a new interaction, and add a few optional mechanics to the environments while improving their visuals a bit. As well, we'll fix a couple of pain points from the last update. Overall, a small update.
We predict a month of development as my life has gotten busy again. In our free time, we are working on the twins since they possess many challenges. There are three major challenges ahead of us.
1) Dialogue. We want the option for both twins or only one twin on the map. As such, we need double the dialogue. Even if we mirror the dialogue between each other and only tweak the wording to better match their personality, it's still a lot of a work. For reference, Akipo currently has about 1.6k lines of gameplay dialogue. So we only need 3.2k lines for the twins if we want to match the current amount of variety.
2) Two gts. The game for a long time has only assumed one gts to simplify the game's development. We still only have ideas on how to have two gts on the map without causing pure chaos.
3) Everything else. New animations, new icons, new footwear, new a lot of things.
For the twins, there is no set-in-stone release update. When it's ready, it is ready. We may release an early test update when a major part is done.

We are working on getting Akipo an actual body so she could have outfits. We'll see if we can add the outfit in time for v8.2

how about have it work differently from they grow from the food your gathering to more of an escape your gathering energy to teleport away before they grow to large to avoid but maybe start them out more amazonish to give you some time.

Sounds amazing I can't wait to see how you continue to improve this game! I must admit I hope with the twins having such different outfits from Akipo you might add a few outfits to choose from for Akipo. I would especially like to see them be unlocked from something fun like the new footwear is!
