Amy's Big Break: Busting Out

Amy's thumb glides up and down the glass screen of her phone. "Would you look at that?" She mutters to herself as the endless scrolling comes to an abrupt stop. "Rouge outgrew the county again. How original." Her eyes are drawn to the number beneath the photo of the ten-mile-high bat. "1.7 billion likes." Amy mumbles as her annoyance grows. "I wish I could be popular like that!" She says exasperated. "But not everyone can steal magical emeralds or get caught up in some science-experiment-gone-wrong nonsense! Some of us have more important things to do with our time! I mean come on..!" Amy's rant to herself is cut short as her phone lets out a small chime. A text message from an unknown number. The message contains a link to an unfamiliar online store. "Hmm?" Amy's curiosity grows and she cautiously taps the link. "Well, well, well... look at this stuff..." She says as her mouth forms a mischievous smile. "Maybe it is time for my big break..."
I know, I know, it's not the most original idea in the world, but really wanted to finish this. I think it turned out pretty well. Let me know what you think!
