Quite aside from "main dancer" or such front of camera titles, Lee Know is actually properly designated as the Dance Leader by Bang Chan. This is a behind the scenes role where he is in charge of scheduling dance practices and monitoring the team in their practices etc.

thank you for reacting to this! I think that it's "very different from all the other dance stuff" you've seen from Hyunjin, the intense performances, is also so very much Hyunjin. Exactly this duality shows what a soft, sensitive, deeply emotional side he has, a huge contrast to the demon he becomes during powerful performances on stage, but nonetheless I think these aren't a paradox: In a way, his ability to transform emotions into energy and match his bodily expression to it, and that on music, is what fuels his dance. As a (former) dancer, I appreciate your ability (as a non-dancer) to SEE what Hyunjin is "saying" with his choreography. You pick up on the details we HOPE our audience can see. The part where you noted that Hyunjin "hits" each note is called "musicality." Hyunjin has definitely been given this gift. As Felix has said, Hyunjin is extremely good at isolations (body control). I've loved watching Hyunjin evolve as a dancer.

Thanks for reacting to this, Ben. Hyunjin choreographed this during covid, when they couldn’t perform in public. Our LoveStay boy was missing stays so much he did this for us. It gets me every time. Hyunjin didn’t seek out becoming an idol, he was street cast while shopping with his parents, he had no background in dance, rap or singing (only a sports related background - swimming and soccer). He worked his ass off to get to where he is today, and it’s one of the things I respect and love about him 🥰 These men had such a tough time pre debut. I would recommend watching the survival show, but be warned it’s pretty heartbreaking in places. However, it will explain a lot about why Skz are so close and the unbreakable bond they have with each other.

precision : it's not that danceracha has no leader, lee know is the OFFICIAL danceracha leader as well as stray kids' dance leader (he supervises the dance practices and fixes the practice schedules for example, that role was assigned to him by chan at the veeery beginning of stray kids, and being the dance leader also means that he basically has no one above him, even chan is under him and can't dispute anything lee know says regarding dancing/performing) but other than that, he's also a great mentor (in addition to having the most experience as one of the very few professional dancer in kpop) which makes him a good leader for danceracha, and is a very good teacher (really detailed and patient, according to the kids) and also is still attentive to what the others say/do even if he runs the practice room like the navy lmao as for hyunjin, he's also a main dancer entirely because he worked so hard, when he was a trainee people didn't think he could do it and used to say that he didn't need to tryhard because his visuals could assure him a debut whether he was talented or not, and he was so upset about that fact this boy trained so hard to achieve his goal of debuting as a main dancer even if he didn't have experience in dancing before becoming a trainee, i'm just so proud of him honestly i believe he can do anything he sets his mind to (we saw that when he started to develop a passion for drawing a few years ago) also this particular choreography was so impressive when he dropped the video because contemporary dancing is really hard, especially if it's not something you do often, but he practiced so much (there's a video where he shows it i believe, don't remember the name on youtube because i watched it years ago but you can probably find it easily) and it ended up being amazing

I went down the lee know dance rabbit hole and found an edit video by stayzen called minho being the 4th gen main dancer. It is 3yrs old but it shows vids from his dance crew days and him helping the other members.

He choreographed it alongside others. And like Hyunjin, San had no dancing background and had to learn and work hard. You also won't be disappointed with the visuals 😍 thank you.

Lee Know is the offical leader of danceracha. The group treats everyone equally and with respect but Lee Know holds that offical position and is respected as such. He is in charge of the majority of the groups choreography and teaching the group the choreography in practices. He shares that responsibility with Felix and Hyunjin but he leads it and has the most responsibility. He works very hard to make sure Stray Kids shine.

I was wondering why Lee Know doesn't upload dance performances just like Hyunjin.Also, Lee Know didn't stand out at all at first, and I had the hardest time remembering Lee Know myself. The difference in style between all members of Danceracha is beautiful to watch. They compliment each other so well. Hyunjin has contemporary dance training which I think has really influenced the way he moves his body and gives his moves a looser and flowing feel to them. Lee Know is precise in his dance and his movements are sharp and strong, putting a lot of power behind them. And Felix has some of the craziest footwork I’ve seen and a hip-hop flare to the way he moves.

No no no, Stray Kids has Dance Leader which is Leeknow. The position was officially handed over to him by Banghan. Leeknow take care of all the dance practice schedules where he's responsible for teaching members and taking part in choreography. He's one of the main reasons why Stray Kids is the best performance group in the world. Hyunjin and Felix are amazing dancers too but PLEASE acknowledge Leeknow's hard work in leader position. Thank you.

It's not his style. He was a backup dancer, their trained to blend and not stand out... He is strong and technical and knows how to perform as part of a whole. Hyunjin and Felix has sooooo much charm And charisma that they just stand out more. Hyunjin especially has an Artist soul and feels so much through his dance. He once told Felix that he(Felix) had so much charm and charisma just being on stage and he (Hyunjin) feels like he does unless he works it. But he is always moving and feeling the emotions of whatever is playing sooooo much

I love the emotional impact of Hyujin's dancing. From my understanding, because Hyunjin was streetcast - literally approached while shopping with his mom, he no prior dance training before becoming a JYPE trainee. Whereas Lee Know was professional dancer before he came to JYPE. I love them all, but you can tell that Hyunjin has an emotional connection to dance - it's that artist's soul coming through.

One would swear that Hyunjin has been dancing for longer than he has. The way he moves is so elegant and graceful and his training definitely shows when he performs as well as his natural flairs. Watching him dance when he gets a chance to feel the music is damn near a work of art and entrancing.
