The thing that makes this performance even more beautiful is that Waiting For Us is the song that was originally attributed to the other team aka the vocalists, they are the rappers in stray kids, not the singers. So besides the fact that some of their notes fell a little flat, if they're nervous that's why. Imagine being strictly a rapper in a kpop group (and yeah, singing from time to time but not this much or this way, because they're not specifically trained to place their voices like that in a song I think, compared to the other team), and having to perform a ballad without any rap section or dancing at all, it's like you're naked in front of all of these people, you can't hide or mess it up. Now of course, it's not just any crowd, it's Stay so we're not gonna be mean with them, but it's still tricky because you wanna be at your best during a concert but this... honestly mad respect!!

Yeah most people don’t realize Felix does a lot of the falsetto sounds like in Taste it’s Lee Know and Felix (he’s the backing falsetto) to be fair it’s not their unit song. Their unit song is Muddy Water which is a rap song. These boys are in here singing parts for the vocal line 😅😅

I've seen comments explaining it but the vocal line and rap line (roughly, because Chan and Han are pretty much in both- despite Han being a main rapper. You know, just ace things) exchanged songs. I'd LOVE for you to listen to the original, and if you cover Muddy Water, PLEEAASE also listen to the original, so you can contrast them!! Weather you listen to the original on or off cam before/after listening to the swapped version, we'd LOVE to hear your thoughts! And how you feel after having listened to both versions! The OGs are both AMAZING songs, but the guys did great with the exchange anyway (esp. considering the rappers have singing experience but I.N., Seungmin and LK don't have much rap experience afaik). Also, I agree that Han is the ace of kpop. He is insane. I hope you can react to a more updated video of him being an ace bc between rapping, singing, dancing, writing, composing, producing...that man is so good at so many things, dang.

I know people have tried to explain before, but just to increase the chances you see it: SKZ is roughly split into the vocal line (Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin, I.N) and the rap line (Changbin, Han, Hyunjin, Felix). Waiting For Us is originally a vocal line song, while Muddy Water is an (amazing) rap line song. For this specific fan meeting, they switched songs - the rappers sang this insanely high ballad here, while the the vocals rapped the rap song Muddy Water. Both did amazing, but definitely not par to the originals, which is expected and also the reason why Felix is indeed nervous af. They basically performed in the team opposite of what they're usually most comfortable with (except Hannie, who can do everything, always, wherever and whenever)

As a break in the concert, they split up into two subunits and sing (the other 4 getting a short vocal break) and we get a different taste of SKZ. The concerts are 3 hours long so they deserve a break. As they have more solo songs, I expect to see solos doing this more, too...and will not complain.

The crazy part is that those for are the ,,rappers“ of straykids. The original song was sung by chan Lee know seungmin and I.N. There is another song called „muddy water“ which the original was sung by Felix changbin Hyunjin and Han. But if your interested you can watch how chan Lee know seungmin and I.N sung the song because those for are vocalist and the song is more of a rap song. You will be shocked at seungmins rapping skills 😭😭
