I think Stray Kids has realized that they really need to make it public that they write and produce their own music. They need to come up with something big because BTS is still beating them out on the charts even though most of them are still in the military, they are releasing content little by little while they are away. And that content is hitting it big on all the charts worldwide. The latest one BTS was first, Jungkook was second and Stray Kids came in third. I'm really looking forward to this next album because I'm sure they're gonna push the limits big time! Headed for Lollapalooza at the end of the month and I'm very very excited!

I just realized that ATE stands for ALL THE ERAS! Since it's their 7th year as a group and they are finally breaking the known industry and JYP "7-year curse"!!! I'm so proud of them!

believe it or not, looking at the wikipedia page of all their tracks apparently Levanter is the other one with JYP in the writing credits. Maybe he had to step in after Woojin left since they had to delay the comeback/distribute lines differently etc.

JYP has his name on a few tracks (I wanna say maybe three total; I know the Japanese release "All In" was one of them. But yeah generally Stray Kids was an experimental group and they were just sort of left to their own devices for the most part and now they're the big money makers of JYPE lol.

From what I read skz are a self-producing kpop band, and they have 3racha who has been producing songs before their debut. I don't think jyp needs to help them produce songs.

When stray kids was formed in the survival show they were challenged to make there own song by themselves ' hellivator ' and ever since then they've been producing and creating there own music. I would recommend watching the survival show to see what happened and to see them from the very beginning

JYP said it was the first time in the company that they choose to create a group that way : they didn’t chose the members but let Chan did (cause he was a trainee for a long time) And because 3racha was already producing their own music (and they have released it without the company knowing I think) they were able to continue (sorry for my bad English 😅) They talked about the creation of the group with JYP in an interview during « All in » promotion

Stray Kids were an experimental project given to Bang Chan. JYP had already seen him grow up over the past 7 years. During that time he had spent a lot of time in the studio working with the producers and learning a lot about making music. He already was producing work on SoundCloud with 3Racha and people were responding positively to their work. That is why he put such hard missions of having them produce their own stuff for the show. JYP wanted to make sure Chan and 3Racha could handle it. Their group is so unique in this aspect, and it's working for them, that the company hasn't really stepped in. They do use other producers, arrangers, and lyricists but 3Racha, or one of the Kids, are involved.

It was a project to leave the main decisions to bang chan like picking the members, creating their own logo etc., as chan (with 3racha) is a talented producer, he also got a saying in their music from the very beginning.
