Status Update - Bonus 1
🕑 Added 2019-02-05 15:32:12 +0000 UTCBonus 1 is still coming along, no worries. 11,500 words in so far, and it'll probably end at about 13,000. It would have come a lot sooner, but I ended up writing one of the later chapters (probably 38 or 39) early cause I'm impatient.
Once Bonus 1 is out I'll start up a vote for T2+ patrons for Bonus 2.

I'm glad you like her, especially glad that it reads smooth! I love writing her character, but that accent takes a lot of hard work because I'm so unfamiliar with it. I have to do a lot of research to find colloquial terms, idioms, and pick and choose which words get the Scottish accent that have enough impact to make the accent show through on the words that I don't. It's a tough challenge and I'm sure I'll get better at it.

Like her accent she’s convincing, compelling and irresistible . I’m surprised she is hard to write. The prose is free flowing and playful. Sprezzatura is the art of making craftsman ship appear unaffected and effortless. The term dates back to the courts of the Italian renaissance . No doubt it is prized by practitioners of the Danse Macabre.

I regret making her Scottish, just for how hard it is to write that accent without making it overbearing or hard to read. :(
