My Little Ventrue Pt.5 Ch.4 (Ch. 58)

So it's actually chapter 4A, and the next chapter will be 4B, but I think that naming scheme is unnecessary, and it'll only make things more confusing, so I'll stick with numbers 4 and 5.
Just remember when you're reading this, it should just flow into the next chapter without a chapter separator. Ultimately not a big issue, except that a 10~ day wait between chapter 4 and 5 will be a little odd.

Jack likes strong, confident, fun women. Annie is the strong, fun, confident queenly type. Clara is the strong, confident, fun gal from the streets. There is some dangerous overlap, not gonna lie. >.>

Ventrue have 2 major personality traits. A desire for dominance and a natural tenacity. But that's a gross simplification and I'd never make characters so easily defined. Jack leans far more toward tenacity than a desire to dominate, but I've been throwing you readers curveballs with that, especially with the prison escape scene. In the bed though, Jack is more submissive, but that doesn't mean he doesn't want to occasionally experiment with being more dominant. I'm sure I'll write more scenes in the future where they switch it up. Circumstances, different contexts, lots of things can lead to different outcomes and moods.
Rust
So I have a question about Jack. Is he internally a submissive, despite becoming a Ventrue which, as you described, enjoy and prefer control? Or is he just has to be one, because Antoinette is so clearly much stronger and older than him which makes her the dominant. I already somewhat understood dynamics between Jack and Antoinette some chapters before, but was kinda secretly hoping for some switcheroo between them, to spice things up (and i personally prefer when mc is the dominant one).
