I find myself speechless because of the emotional turmoil in seeing a beloved character in such a mental distress. But I basically wanted to say what your post said, and add: the character art of an artist summons emotions and feelings, that are linked to the character being portrayed in the art; and a whole character is made of bad feelings and moments of darkness too. I'm glad Jackaloo showed this drawing. .... I want to jump at Cooper, pin him down on the bed, toss that baseball bat off the window and shake him until he sees me. o_o

I think you don't need to feel anxious about posting such artworks, art can express a lot of things, be they positive or negative. Some people may think that life always needs to be sunshine and rainbows, but it never is, it's a bit of everything, also bad times and such artworks can be a reminder, venting and a help to understand and reflect such feelings. Not to mention it shows a whole different side of your artistic capabilities, it's good you posted it in my opinion and maybe rouse some discussions about this topic with it. I personally like the constrast in Cooper's character, he's strong in body and attitude, but has a quite frail and confused mentality sometimes. It adds to his character and his development and this artwork shows that quite well. You did a good job with this artwork! Never hold back your creations, every piece of art you create is a piece of yourself, after all. And as much as I love seeing horny work of Jack and Cooper and the others, as much do I like seeing artworks reflecting other sides of you and your characters.

Wow, that’s actually pretty interesting when you put it like that, would coooer go that far? I know in volume 3 he mentioned to River saying how Andy is the only reason he quote on quote: kept from putting a bullet in his head. Makes you think

This scene basically what Cooper would do. I can totally see this scene in an AU side comic "The Intern: What If...Cooper never got evicted?" This scene makes us realize that in the main comic...it's Andy. Andy keeps Cooper so distracted with all the gay love and sex that Cooper doesn't have the mindset to cut himself or do any self-harm like he did in this image.
