Nah, Deaths Grip battle was amazing. You have a great sense of movement in your fights, they don't just stay in one place, they move though the world, and even change it. That's awesome!

I don't think so, it helped set the magnitude of the event, especially early in the story. It'll make the next spire fall easier to understand.

I recall that I thought that the description of the battle at the spire of Dead Grip was too elaborate. The struggle with Asmodeus was to the point. I liked that it was written from the pov of Mia and how she experienced it. It's amazing that after the intensityof the fight you manage to continue with an equally enthralling conversation that captures my attention.
