The trip was to give the remaining members a chance to heal and process the loss of Minho. And allow the remaining members to re-bond as 8. Minho couldn't go. It would have been hard on him to realize that he no longer belonged. Someday, I hope they tell us what he was told after being eliminated. Did he know he might be allowed a chance to return?

The viewer at the time weren't as vested into Lee Know at the time because they were only introduced to them on this show. It hurts more now because we know his value to who SKZ is. I don't think they would have made it as big without Lee Know and Felix. They certainly wouldn't be the people we know and love now.

I believe I read that the members got together and committed to living a clean life with no smoking, drinking, ... And who knows what else ... until the "made it". I got the impression that they didn't drink until they were all of drinking age.

yeah he was still in JYP and was still able to train and stuff. But yeah these eps really hit hard not having him join in. and knowing he had to leave the dorms too made me so upset. Even knowing what happens in the end, it's still really emotional seeing them go through this:(

i seriouslly have a love hate relationship with JYP...k like he knew that Lee Know has been a trainee for a short period (a month as a trainee) before show started.... JYP was def going after DanceRacha...but funny how DanceRacha are the ones that gets magaxines and brands back thrn and now all 8 of them doing...DanceRacha is the face of the group in my opinion...but now been 2025 all 8 of them are the 4th gen kpop leaders...

Being a survival/pre-debut Stay was traumatic Ben lol I remember that episode like it was yesterday, (not to mention the anxiety and stress of having to wait for translation teams to translate the episodes once they came out lol) Jypapi's face gives me war flashbacks and ptsd and I still got beef with him over it.

The fact that we know it all turned out okay doesn’t detract from the emotion and pain they were all feeling here. No matter how cynical the programme might have been in creating emotion for the viewers, always intending to bring Lee Know back at the end (never proven, just my interpretation of events), it’s very clear that the boys themselves didn’t know. And that’s what makes me cry.

The fact that Minho was a trainee for only a month before the show started always makes it hurt even more. Every time my payment for therapy doesn’t go through, I’m brought back to that episode.
