It is not that Bang Chan was meant to be in GOT7 ... more that they thought BamBam would debut with Bang Chan, potentially in a completly different group, but as they say here, after BamBam's performance in the YG battle with the future GOT7 members JYP decided he had to be in that group, leaving Bang Chan behind 😭..... imagine if BamBam had been in Stray Kids ... in a different universe maybe or ... if it was a completly different group and Stray Kids never existed 😭... I think it has all worked out for the best for everyone.

Bambam's mother told a beautiful story. She went to a fortune teller in Thailand when Bambam was visiting home. The fortune teller said that when they go back to Korea Bambam will meet a small boy, a kid just like him. But this child he will meet is a genius/very talented with an angelic voice. And the day Bambam and his mother came back to JYPE they saw a small boy standing there holding one of the manager's hand. And it was Bangchan. She said she was very touched when she saw him. 🥲
