Good discussion. I think Paulo is wrong to make the distinction between the right and left's politics of protection re. property vs society in the sense that the left's blanket support for lockdowns has very much helped defend the property of the big-tech oligarchs and propertied in general. If house prices and the stock market weren't marching onward would the PMC left really be as keen on lockdowns and restrictions?
