Subsantive correction near the end: the "Dune sequel" is not a sequel, any more than "The Two Towers" is a sequel to "Fellowship of the Ring". It's the second part of the adaptation of the same work. Villineu's film covers roughly the first 50-60% of the novel "Dune". It's not like they released the Dune film and then decided to just do another one for more money. It's a single thick book that's considered nigh-impossible to adapt into one single film.
