Chapter 20: Chasing Waterfalls

After many long weeks working for the circus industry, I can finally feel the freedom of the wild again. I can hear it calling, like the beating of a drum against my chest. My spirit knows. The month of May is full of rainy days, so I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Chase some waterfalls!!! 
The hunt for waterfalls begins by following this creek.
Getting to this waterfall was not an easy path, there were no paths at all! Bushwhacking at its best! I am never scared about getting lost. I take all the precautions I know, and I feel pretty good about my navigation skills. The only worry I had was not being able to find this waterfall before sundown.
Along the way, I ran into so many wildflowers! The freest of flowers growing wild of course! I stopped and I took my time to admire the beauty of each one. The sweet smell of the flowers still lingered after every step. 
I ambled along the path I was making through the thick bush and trees when a humming sound vibrated in the air. It traveled through my body and I felt a tingle that ran up to my fingertips. My heart starts beating faster as I came to a cliff and the sound revealed itself. The waterfall I had been looking for! 
I am just in awe of all the lush green ferns surrounding the cave and the moss that blankets the rocks beneath. In this moment my heart, mind and soul were being nourished. I walked along the edge of the boulders with this peaceful energy and a smile on my face.
The intense flow of the water felt like it was rushing all of my worries, doubts, and fears away. Unfolding a deeper level of love that I have for this earth.
I embraced my full wild side again. She has awaken the beast.
A new world unfolded before me...
This place tucked away deep in the forest just waiting to be found.
After many hours spent, started to walk back and the waterfall became distant again. Like it would disappear back into my imagination. I ventured one look back over my shoulders to see one last time. 
It’s soul-swelling magic followed me all the way home.....
I am so incredibly happy to post again! Thank you for your patience during these long weeks! Every single message you sent me meant the world to me!

Really?! Thank you!! It was a little Halle hung taking these photos because this specific waterfall was surrounded by boulders. Not perfect conditions for a camera 😂

Thank you! Everything has been going good! I had some free time after a long contract with the circus. The first thing I do is go out in nature haha
