Chapter 22: Summer Takes Hold

Down by the creek, where the water is cool and crisp. This has been one of the hottest summers so far but I love it!
Just before sunset I head out and take a drive to the nearest creek. I pick a corner that calls to me and start walking downstream.
The water shines from the sun like magic.
Walking in the sparkling cold waters instantly brings me to life.
Found a spot to lay on the rocks and just breathe the warm air. I remember dreaming of this hot weather in depths of winter. How the warm sunshine would feel on my skin. So I can’t complain about it, it’s all I ever wanted.
Don’t mind me, just wanted channel a lizard I saw sun bathing on the rocks.
I can’t be bothered, tucked away in my only little corner of the creek.
Just existing while enjoying what exist around me.
I love trailing up rivers and streams because you never know what you’ll explore. It’s always something new.
Plus, you are less liking to see other humans 😆
I can be as wild and free as I want to.
This..... is bliss.

So cool that you are usually barefoot even if the terrain is not that friendly. When I hike nude, I am always barefoot to feel more in touch with nature lol
