I agree with René that it should have some sort of steady rhythm/percussion for his military service! I also heavily agree that it should be influenced by Ket folk songs since that's so integral to his story. I do wonder if just those two influences sound too rigid though, since if you're romancing him he is quite passionate haha...maybe there can be like, a sexy bridge or something where the rhythm section fades out and it's just the melody. that could also symbolize him like forging his own path since he did do that with the whole Autarch business....and i think that would really take the edge off and add depth to the whole piece! but you could also say that about literally any song with a bridge, so. edit ok so that submitted too early. anyway i also think maybe some more melodic? instruments could be a delicious contrast if one were to go with a more obvious rhythm section if that makes any sense? and as for fast/slow, maybe there's a way to do both if you wanted....i know changing the subdivisions of the beats can make it sound either fast or slow. um anyway these are all just suggestions lmfao i wrote music once and now i have a god complex sorry much luv
