🕑 Added 2025-05-30 19:00:17 +0000 UTCI finally started experimenting with different fonts to indicate different speakers--something I've been wanting to do since starting this epistolary fic--and I had a lot of fun with it, though I hope it's not too confusing! I wish I could say I'm surprised by how Chase's interview turned out, but the man's like an eel: Ignis was in way over his head from the get-go, and I think he realized it, too! My hope is to intersperse more of these interviews throughout the story!

I really love everything about this. Chase's interview was phenomenal, but I really enjoy seeing the sort of 'behind the scenes' dealings that the logistics division (as it were) has to handle. There's something about it that makes everything feel even that much more complex and alive; people griping about the extra work (even while acknowledging it's not really anybody's fault), the little back and forth notes, seeing what the more rank and file members of the Shepherds think about the inner circle (Twilight Council 👀👀👀), it's wonderful. Truly excellent. Plus, having the interview/examination with each of the main group (if you felt like it!) is such a great way to see their character. AUGH I just love it all
