4D Projection Clip
🕑 Added 2025-06-28 03:49:09 +0000 UTCHi all! Sorry it's been quiet here for a bit. I took a break after part 3 and found it hard to get back into the groove. I'm posting this (unpolished) clip, as I'm not quite sure what to do with it. It was originally part of what is now part 4 (still in progress), but doesn't flow well with the rest of it. It also overlaps with some of the ideas presented in part 2. I may use it as part of a "how to make your own 4D models" video. I'd love to hear what you think - like if it offers new insight or seems superfluous. I'd like to use the Patreon in part as a preview/testing ground, so any questions, or feedback - positive or negative - is super helpful. And I'll try to post here more often. Thanks!!

the first half is just revision from what we've seen, but the second half where you show rotation in 3D and in 4D where the rotation affects the visibility of all the axis I found useful. I want to see a 4D object being rotated along its 4 axis, but also translated along these axis, and also rotated along arbitrary axis that affect the visibility of all axis as well. I know that's asking a lot xD. Good video nonetheless, thank you for sharing it with us

Thanks for giving us an update! IMO, this clip does not add new relevant intuitions. The second part could maybe be extended and it might become useful, giving us more examples of what peculiar profiles well-known 3d shapes assume when moved inside a 4d space; but as it is now I think it's not essential. Keep up the good work, best
