When you use a resource pack, do you get a load failed notification?

I installed Fabric but I still have the same problem. I also Installed BSL v8 in the shader folder ( I saw a page somewhere with your pack and in the details, it says BSL needed to be installed and activated). The BSL shaders work but your resource pack doesn't. None of the versions do, 256 is the only one that doesnt slow down the game to 0 FPS but it does not show the textures. 512, 1024 simply make the game unplayable. https://imgur.com/a/zNmVReP

I decided to try again aftergiving up 6 months ago since it didn't work. And now im back and stil lf confused. Is there a step by step tutorial? I downloaded Optifine and ran a minecraft Optifine version, but when i check shader option the screen is empty. Reagardless, no matter what I do all i see is default textures. If I put the Zip file in the shader pack folder it show in the list but it does nothing, if i put the zip file in the resources folder the game slows down to a crawl and still no textures. My PC has a Ryzen 9 7950x with 32gb of ram and an RTX 3090ti, why the slow down.

im really lost. where do I put the zip files? and the shader options screen is empty for all your version of the pack. ( I also have SEUS Renewed installed and those show options)
