Solution to overcome the problem not being able to use resolutions of 512x and above (Tutorial Videos)
🕑 Added 2024-03-08 14:33:31 +0000 UTCIf the resource pack is executed successfully then you may be able to add another texture until it reaches the limits of your device's capabilities. The problem with this resource pack is that it changes all the existing blocks and there are no high resolution resource packs except this. that's basically my resource pack having a problem that rarely happens in other resource packs.

Or you can experiment using texture 512x with 256 for normal and mer.

It should be possible

Can a 4070 and 5900x not handle the 512x pack?

Is there a way i can email screenshots? The issue is, even if i take out everything in the standard AND rtx pack EXCEPT for something like blue ice, I can load them both, but it just looks like regular minecraft with one, non RTX, 512x texture.

Try using the RD version as in the tutorial and use deferred rendering.

Yeah, cant enable RTX on standard pack. Just textures
abovetheclouds
I did that, i moved every single pbr/rtx texture into the standard and it worked fine, but there is no shader. its just 512x textures
BSBEShaders
No, just move the standard one. I tried 2048x in RD version and it works. Try activating RTX outside the world (Main menu)
abovetheclouds
yes. but my rtx folder is still full of items. Should i move the textures in both the standard folder AND the rtx folder to a backup?
BSBEShaders
Have you moved textures other than blue ice to the backup folder?
abovetheclouds
ok so i got it, kind of. It works fine with just the standard enabled. Right now i just have the blue ice in the standard file. But, when i turn on rtx my game immediately crashes.
abovetheclouds
So I did exactly what you did in the video, but my game still crashes exactly like before. What am i doing wrong?
BSBEShaders
1. Yes, that's the only way. 2. In the video I don't activate RTX, so if you activate RTX the block will look good.
abovetheclouds
alright, So do you think i should start with maybe half of the textures with pbr, then slowly add some until the game cant load? Also in that video, the lighting wasnt realistic - is that where the rtx pack comes in?
BSBEShaders
The RTX package is only for tutorial needs to make the tutorial easier, so it doesn't have to be in the game.
abovetheclouds
So what is the rtx pack for?
