🕑 Added 2016-11-01 15:33:44 +0000 UTC First, thanks a lot to all patrons who have supported this Patreon throughout October despite the lack of any major content being done. I also apologize to everyone for not getting the Halloween animation done until the 31st of October. In its original idea it was supposed to be much shorter, but I ended up wanting to deliver more than just a short animation and give people some more content for the amounts they're pledging. Officially the goal was to complete larger animations is 4 months after the previous release, since Halloween was a lot closer I've only given myself 2 months though, which was obviously not enough. This at least gives me a better idea where my own capabilities are and allows for more realistic estimations and better planning in the future.All things considered, please bare with me just a bit longer! I'll keep posting WIPs and playblasts throughout the next days of course, so stay tuned! In addition I'll try to deliver bonus content for this animation shortly after its release despite the $2,000 not being reached, hopefully this will make up for the long wait! (:

The full, downloadable animations are actually just send to patrons whose payment made it through, this already prevents most people from pledging and running! (:

Could you place a lock on some of your content? Give the password out after the monthly payment process is complete? I know nothing will stop people from posting your work immediately after receiving the password. However, they are still paying.

Yep, I've been told it's pretty normal that a lot of patrons drop out during the payment process, but it's not much of a big deal for me. While I've put more work than ever into animating this month there wasn't any big release, so I understand if people are disappointed from the lack of content this month. Overall it was still an increase from the last month, furthermore we'll see if things will skyrocket once more when the new animation is out again. I'm certain that if people finally see it they'll likely understand why it was taking so long! Oh and don't worry about Salty, he's a close friend of mine and just screwing around! <:>

Thanks Vision! I'm aiming for the middle of the month as a new release date. Whether that's going to be the 15th or later is something I'll be able to determine in a few days! There's still a bit of animation that needs to be done before I can start rendering. Hoping that sound can be done rather quick as well! (:

Didn't you have 180 patrons and about a day ago? As of now it's all the way down to 164 patrons in such a short period of time. The header says they are starting the monthly payment cycle, so does that mean those are the people who pledge just for the higher quality downloads but leave during payments? I'm really excited about the animation!! But between the fake supporters(?) and the guy commenting here with just the word "suffer", things can certainly be... odd.

You're doing great! Take your time; you've always been quality > quantity. I'm not sure if you've mentioned it recently, but do you have a rough ETA? (Obviously it'll probably be later if for no other reason than Maya giving you a hard time, but was just curious.)Previews have been great, looking forward to more of them!
