Straven

Plus the way he treats droids is very clearly better by far from most biological's do. Don't doubt many droids trust and respect him more then most.

Straven

One I'm honestly loving. Little things one of my favorite sides!

StarBat

Eh. 50/50 she trusts Barris had good reason to do so.

Andri Gschwend

Always has been

KevKev

At this point Hare could 1v1 Palpatine

Jan Ullrich

The droid conspiracy grows. (A secret society of sentient droids controlling the galaxy far far away)

TwoJacksAndAnAce

We need an R2 Hare duo chapter, when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.

TwoJacksAndAnAce

Or is it?!

Von Harley

Rains definitely underplaying his involvement a little bit there lol

Hailhound

Lmao luminaries being like “you told Barris, she’s a part of this?!?” And he’s just like “madam, this is ALL Bariss. It’s her idea, she’s the one who got the spike into Priestess for us to get all your battle plans and allowed the fight to go on long enough for it to be clear Palpatine needs to be removed. She told Adi Gallia that the Sith they’re looking for is Palpatine. She gave us this document with all the conspirators names. It’s all Bariss. Bariss is the true leader of the confederacy, not Tann.

Isabel

I thought the same about putting trust in gree but it doesn’t really matter. He’s loyal to Luminara and wouldn’t report anything to anyone higher up, they already know about the contingency codes anyway it seems and if order 66 gets activated gree would follow the order anyway. Really they don’t lose anything by telling gree, but by telling him they definitely gain another person working on the problem.

By god I hope Hare stays with Rain and doesn't die at some point. But since she is a beloved character, there's a good chance she will die.

Von Harley

I imagine it still follows the general idea of it being based on a chip. Rain may only have knowledge of the primary films, but the universe still roughly seems to include media like the Clone Wars as well, which would make sense since Ahsoka exists

A⊄Pow(A)

In Clone Wars cartoon, even the closest of clones were still susceptible to their order 66 chips. The exceptions were those that had their chips physically damaged or removed. We don't quite know what form order 66 is taking in this fic though. Solid bet it's not something they can simply resist though as that would go against canon.

Bishop7053

Or because said betrayal is being used to save the jedi, it could be her faith in her apprentice that allows her to put her trust in Rain. Could be the whole reason Miirth had the jedi in the situation be luminara because she had a connection through barris to Rain

Bishop7053

With faith put in Gree, would be cool to see the more individualistic clones side with jedi against their brothers just to have another big of civil war thrown into the mix.

Charles L

When will Palpatine pull the trigger? Without Anakin on his side and the walls closing in, I bet he'll do it when the Jedi confront Dooku over Serenno. Dooku is still a useable piece to preserve, even if the situation isn't ideal.

Von Harley

Luminara hearing that her own former apprentice helped enact this whole plan was fascinating to read. I wonder if it at all feels like a sense of betrayal.

elsicava

it's a joke

Joel

Did star wars universe have dimensional storage? Or is Hare the most interesting thing in the entire story now.

Mrsean22

Well this could turn in interesting ways. Luminara is putting a lot of trust in Gree by showing the evidence to him. Does make me curious on how Gree is seeing this. Basically seeing this big conspiracy of the Jedi getting supporters if Palpatine doesn't give up his emergency powers while seeing another conspiracy of Palpatine getting more power to himself and hoping to kill the Jedi. Like with this information where would clones go to? If nothing else Rain has got Luminara attention and support on this with getting Rains expertise on Fleet combat.

Michael K

I love the build up of tension to the final line. Everything is coming together for the grand finale. I'm still dreading Order 66 though - surely that Chekov's gun is still going to be pulled?

Voligne

Hare is just REALLY good at her job. The best money can buy. It probably also helps that Rain isn't in the habit of doing memory wipes on droids he is fond of.

Voligne

Together they fight crime.

elsicava

She didn't. Her fleet did. It's not so uncommon, especially here on Earth. You take prisoners, but don't have space or food for them, or maybe you just don't feel like keeping prisoners... just shoot them dead and mark them off as killed in combat. Recall Rendili, the Home Fleet's comms were frazzled up and jammed, and everyone was still reeling from Calli's mad rush and the absolute carnage of the battle. Honor Salima ordered her fleet to comb the wreckage for prisoners, but whose to stop some vengeful gunners from popping escape pods? What about hangar crews summarily executing POWs and citing they were resisting capture and killed them out of self-defence? These aren't clones like in the Open Circle Fleet, remember, and they aren't so disciplined. (And unlike the OCF the HF was in the thickest and worst of the fighting too) They're exercising revenge. Whose going call them out on it? Whose going to stop them?

Asharzal

Okay, so Honor Salima executed most of the prisoners she took on the spot. Is she a bloody idiot? That opened the door to all kinds of nasty things happening to captured Republic personnel. Also Obi-Wan of all people having perhaps saved the life of Calli is awesome.

SuperbOwl67

Rain turning the CIS Hex into a hydra is some great graphic design work. 10 out of 10 quality. Luminara and Gree entering gave me the same vibes as Vader in the banquet hall on Bespin. Rain clearly shares that dramatic instinct.

Trailblazer

...Is Hare the Random Omnipotent Being that isekaied Rain into the Star Wars universe?
