aw man ;v; I tend to worry about rambling too much too, I'm glad you actually enjoy it, and likewise, I'm very happy to see what you write! Hahah, now that you mention it, thinking back I believe that might be the expression I keep giving this blue demon character, more or less. A sort of annoyed/tired look, at least those type of eyes I feel are important for the character haha. HAHA, <33 I'm glad! It's another type of size difference that's so fun, when an imp-ish character may be small but is either very strong or very sly and is still able to overpower... <3 Yes! Those pics are... loosely related! It's something I want to try more, even if it's rough or vague, I'd like to be able to give a better idea of what the characters are like, even if I'm not writing a script or more detailed bio. Oohh? That makes me so curious! I would have thought the common element would be the art style! It's so interesting that you still see some hallmarks there linking them together! Even when they are randomly generated for the most part! I wonder there's something about the sprites I keep choosing yo draw, or if there's something that makes them more similar with my interpretation of the original sprites, or the little changes I make to them? Ah either way that is so cool that you'd notice that! Ahh I hope the notes make sense... Well I can expand on that a bit! -The eyes were a big contributor to adding a lot more topology to the face, so I was wondering with how many polygons I could've gotten away with, where it's not too many but the shape of the eye remains intact [I need to practice simplifying!] -Notes for the hair are for rig controls, and then the ideas for grouping hair chunks was to reduce the amount of bones, because things were getting slow [but it turns out that was something else, and it was an easy fix too] -There's other notes about the lips and how they should/could move. -The ones called "TekkiNotes5Lines" are pretty obvious, it's extra textures that could be used for different effects and expressions [These would serve like a layer on top of the painting or for some lines, polygons that appear and disappear, I'm not sure how I'd do it yet.] -And everything else has to do with figuring out how to do the weight painting and what I need the mesh to do [For example TekN1 and TekN2 are notes on the face and how things look when angry or happy] HAHAH, Sorry about that! I can imagine how jarring that was [The perfect word! I noticed it too, but I wanted to add it because I thought it would be interesting/amusing!] Oh! I think in this particular drawing that has to do with the proportions and especially the body! I wanted to get very close to the Simpsons style, but I can't help also falling into old patterns. It jumped to me when I saw the hips of the girl in the middle, I thought "Those are not Simpsons hips..." AH MAN, that's right you have your whole AU that's set on Beforus! Oh I'd really like to ask you about what your Beforus is like! My struggle is that even Beforus itself is.. there's so much up for interpretation! I mean I guess Alternia too, but we have so much more content for Alternia to paint a better picture. Beforus I have no idea how it works. And then as you described, there's also all the little potential changes that start adding up. <3 I'm glad you like what I've got so far! Thank you!

Oh man, there's so much here, and in the thing, it's a goldmine. I could probably ramble forever about it but I'll...ah...try to rein it in a bit, if I can. XD So, firstly. 07-26a2, hot damn, that expression. I mean, for real, I keep coming back to it. I think because I can't tell if it's like...smoldering/bedroom eyes, or angry, or like...something else. Either way, keeps drawing me back to come up with a new story for it. XD 07-25a1-, :chef's kiss: That is all. The little string of (seemingly) related images + dialog was also very entertaining. As always, your expressions are fantastic at conveying emotion, even in very sketchy formats or without a ton of frames. So many good designs in here too, dang. Like, all the MSPA-related stuff in general, great colors and style variation. It's...mm...it has some hallmarks that'd make me wonder if they were yours if I saw them elsewhere (aside from your art style, I mean) but...I'm struggling to figure out the common thread. It's just kind of a vibe. You've got the ability to make them different but it's still...cohesive? I think that's the right word for it. Also! Ah! I love all the notes and ideas, I'm going to have to really dig into those later, and if the sun weren't coming up, I'd do it now, ha. I told myself I'd finish these comments before bed though, so gotta get through that first. >;] I think the inclusion of the Simpson's style image is good, it was jarring for a second (since I just flip through the images in the download without looking at the thumbnails usually), but then it is (again) impressive how you can do something in another style, but it's still...yours? There are hints in there that'd make me think I might have seen related art before. ALSO, since you were talking about MSPA dancestors, that was like...the longest part for me to do when I was doing things for my own stuff. Because like...if there's a scratch, then some details change, and if things change, then it's so easy to go down this rabbit hole of differences where you've got potential changes to society that end up with different popularity/types of naming, clothing, social castes, etc. etc. etc. Basically I'm just a sucker for the lore tornadoes that you can kick up with just a little change, so it's always fun to read about other people's characters, how they came up with them, etc. So, as ever, thanks for sharing, and (double) as ever, love the designs and names (even if they change later XD). OK, I think enough rambling here, I still gotta go to the other one too... >:]
