Eldritch Omens CSM Part 1: Armor
🕑 Added 2022-05-29 15:25:31 +0000 UTCPainting Armor Patterns in a cold blue/black Pattern! Talking about where to place highlights, how luminosity works on miniatures and showing a couple of ways to blend together colors even when beginning with a more sketching style approach.
There will be some follow up videos to this, I want to finish editing the gold NMM trim by tomorrow - and then there will be more videos, inclduing how to paint the face, how to add an inner hot purple glow to the armor reflecting onto the face, how to paint chrystals and the chrystals will also emit some torquise/blue OSL.
Thanks for sticking with the Patreon through my health issues over the last two months, it means a lot to me!
Finally back to being able to paint - will put up all the catch up videos I can one by one!

Really loved seeing the lighting on the armor come together in this video, it taught me a ton! Even though you said the blends weren't as smooth I really like the result, it made the armor feel more worn like centuries old armor should be. The process also gave me an idea to add a light wash to purposely coffee stain it and trace the stains for more natural battle damage. Thanks for making a great video and I look forward to the NMM Gold.
