EDIT: A note that we can't really answer in-universe questions, as if the answer isn't in the show, then either we don't know the answer or we don't want to tell you yet. So I recommend focusing on behind the scenes questions.

Hello, hello! My favorite writers! After listening to WTNV for the last few years (repeatedly, obsessively, and for too many consecutive hours) I've found that my own writing levelled up significantly! My brain must have learned something from it, or perhaps I was simply given confidence in the ability of writers to use words as creatively as they want and spare extra page space to develop a strong narrative tone. I'm not quite sure what happened, but I'm fairly certain that if not for your influence, I wouldn't have been able to write my best (and favorite) story! I fear that my writing wouldn't have ever been weird or creative enough to do my original idea justice! When asked what my inspirations were, WTNV is always the first thing to come to mind, although neither our stories nor our writing styles have very much in common, aside from being on the quirky side of things. It's simply that your writing influenced mine so dramatically that it HAS to be a source of inspiration, and it stands alongside very few others. I have MANY authors I love, but very few I can credit for influencing my writing the way you did. With that said, I've always wondered: did you have an inspiration like that? Not for the story itself, but for your writing style... what other authors influenced your style?

Cecil is always credited as "The Voice of Night Vale", rather than as his character's name "Cecil Gershwin Palmer", and this isn't done for any other characters (as far as I'm aware). Is there a reason for this? Are there any other "The X of Night Vale"'s? The Heart of Night Vale? The Brain of Night Vale? The Filiform Papillae of Night Vale?
