Thanks for the info! I used to see Mega Man games quite a bit when I was younger too, but knew very few who played em. Unfortunately the character never had a big break like it did in the US back with Mega Man 2 and the orignal X, and Europe generally got very small shipments of the games, hence why PAL MegaMan games have been stupidly expensive even long before retro collecting was in vogue. It also explains why we didn't get most of the Mega Man collections during the 6th gen, sales just kinda peaked in the early days and were on a decline ever since. Ironically the series is more popular than ever sales wise but still not enough to get Capcom to invest in anything outside of reissues and collections, quite sad really.

Only the anecdotal evidence that atleast here in Sweden at the time, used games stores, in which I spend too much time in in middle school, always had quite a few Mega Man games in stock, or atleast the games for NES, GB and X1, but almost never went down in price, suggesting high amount of carts in circulation while also being quite popular (X2 and X3 also showed up at times, but prices were always, for the time, premium and disappeared almost immediately)... As far as actual evidence though, it's possible that the local distributor Bergsala here in Sweden still has sales records of Mega Man releases from back in the day, although the likelihood of managing to convince someone there to dig through their records from the 90s is probably a long shot to say the least.

I've heavily researched mega mans sales performances over the years and it was basically a non factor in Europe compared to Japan and North America. He's got a passionate fan base but its never amounted to big sales by Capcoms standards, but if you've got any info to prove otherwise let me know as it'll be useful for the video.

Small note of interest, Mega Man wasn't big on the British Isles, but it was plenty big on the rest of the continent.

Fantastic work so far! The time flew by and I was surprised when it ended, haha. Hope things are going well for you and the fam and can’t wait for more.

as an adult job haver i have no idea of how you can be this productive lmao

Sean Seanson

It's getting closer all the time really, the only issue is I decided to start this YouTube stuff when I have all the major adult bills to deal with so it's technically "safer" for me to do YouTube and work a regular job at the same time, since Youtube is very inconsistent and with a regular job you at least know what you're going to get each month. But if it ever becomes clear doing YouTube full time is the smarter financial decision. I'll move into full-time in a heartbeat!

Terrific work so far, as expected. This is a hell of an undertaking. Bravo!

congrats on the million views on the last big one, is there a number where this starts becoming plausible as a full time job?

same but also i'll happily watch it again when the video comes out lol

I said to myself "I'll just check it for a bit to see how it's going and then wait for the final release", and here I am, watching it till the end. Great work, loved watching what you've done so far.

I think it's unfair to say all the comments on Mahjong tutorial videos are from Yakuza players. Some of them are from Final Fantasy 14 players.
