Captain Sundra: Cross-Hatch Style
🕑 Added 2021-05-27 00:31:51 +0000 UTCThanks to Zuggtmoy for letting me experiment a bit with this commission, I've been wanting to explore cross-hatch style shading and the pirate theme on this was a good fit for the visual of a wanted poster.
With one set of lines it looks like an engraving or woodcut shading:
Two sets of hatches intersecting for the standard cross-hatch style:
And on this one I added some additional soft shading. I'm not sure if it enhances or undermines the impact of cross-hatching.
