Around once a week (or two now thanks to *inflation*) , I’ll go in with no plans and figure out what to make for dinner. I’ll usually start with figuring out which protein looks best and then roam the veggies in the same way. I like being able to get creative wandering the aisles thinking up something.
I’ve had a bad habit of living close to high schools and during the school year, the store is usually crawling with teenagers whenever I happen to go. The dismay I had walking into the store the other day was probably incredibly visible when I realized school is back in session. lol
The kids have never been bad, at most just a little obnoxious and a bit oblivious to others. Ya know, like all teens in a big groups. Or maybe, it’s me and my old lady side is starting to show. :P

Here I thought that I was the only one that enjoyed a visit to the grocery store... and would make up the dinner plans based on what's available that day in the store. ;)

I am just the opposite... once school starts the stores are safe again. The local mall got so bad with fights and large mobs of teens that they banned teens without an adult over 21. Local Target and Walmart are looking into the same as they have similar issues. Even the county fair is considering restrictions on teens when a large mob of kids from the neighboring town got into a gun fight.
