I didn’t like lychee at first. Didn’t find it as intuitive. Took a break from it and tried again after not using either and I don’t know what my problem was lol. I love it. It is my fave program, especially when I’m feeling lazy and just want to pop on auto supports, about five min per model and I haven’t had any fails. Just to give an opposite view point... :)

I prefer Chitubox. I have more failures with Lychee files :(

I really liked the Lychee interface but I have had a print error everytime I try a print exported from it. Same stl works fine in chitubox with the same settings on printer and resin. Bit of a bummer that some of the files are only in Lychee and they fail for me.

It seems all patreons are migrating to Lychee, for me I do not like it personally. But that is just me. I usually end up supporting all the models myself anyways.

So I tried Lychee, sleek interface and cool features, but what a pain to edit the supports ! For example there is a funky one connecting to the flute on the Flautist model, it bends down and up again and I believe it won't work. With Chitubox it would have taken 2 seconds to fix by lowering the ring down the support. With Lychee it's impossible to do that, all I can do is move the tip or the base, everything in between happens automatically and put the support at odd angles, never where I want it to go. I find Chitubox's handling of supports much more precise and easier to use. Maybe the proper tools to edit supports on Lychee are in the paid version only, but even then I don't see the point of paying $3 a month to do things Chitubox already does perfectly for free. I'd like to know what the other patrons think, but as far as I'm concerned I beg you to go back to Chitubox files :)
