With snow, without snow or both!

We are preparing the content for The Frost City Campaign, the campaign consists of Miniatures and Terrains. For the terrains we have thought of including a version of each model with snow, I would like you to take a look and tell me if you like the idea.
Our idea is to include all the terrain elements in both versions, with and without snow. Mainly because all the terrain elements can be used in many games and we don't want to limit the scenery to be always snowy :)
Well, tell me what you think about the idea of including elements with snow, we are not sure if it's worth the effort, but if it's something you like to have in the campaign we will do it!
Thanks guys!

Without
Lung3rJoe
Both would be awesome ! Already looks amazing !

Since you were planning on both anyway, I would love both. Yes I know it is possible to make snow with other modelling methods, but I would rather is was sculpted in as an option. Thanks.

With and without for versatility

I love the idea of both but like others have said, don't kill yourself. Y'all make gorgeous models!

I'd love to have the option of snow on my terrain

With SNOW PLEASE

Personally if I can only have one I'll take without please. While I understand you are going for a frost city terrain ks, I can add my own snow effects if I want. The terrain without the snow is SO much more versatile than with snow.

I'd say no snow, but maybe a guide on a good way to add a snow effect would helpful! Model looks awesome! Can't wait to print and paint!
MiniMe
I'm in the "don't kill yourself making multiple versions" camp. While options are awesome, for me snow is something that is easier to add as an effect after, instead of trying to 'paint'. Now icicles on the other hand... :)

We will try to have both versions for the launch, the truth is that the snow theme make the campaign feel more Frost :)

Great :)

The snowless version is almost finished for the launch models and the first Stretch Goals. The scenery elements are designed to be valid for many games. We will try to have all the snow versions at launch, having both is cool.
Rafael Moreno Dominguez
Yes, it will be an option, in principle we propose it for all the ground elements, it is more work of course, but it is feasible to do it. And the campaign will be more complete which is our goal with this.

You know the time and efforts needed in such work, so do what you can. In my opinion a frost city without snow isn't "frost" ^^'. Ruins are a common theme, specially jungle, so a snowy version could be something different to see but, as you said, less usable due to specific theme. In conclusion for game purposes, without snow is better.
Rafael Moreno Dominguez
We did a test of just what you say, but it limited us a lot when designing the snow and a lot of loose models came out for each prop. The most practical is to have two complete models, with and without snow.

Is there any chance the snow can be Modular - printed separately and attached to the model? This would save on printing/painting the same model twice.

Love the idea of snow versions!

I love the idea of adding the snow as an option, but only if it's doable. Don't kill yourselves trying to do both!

Without is my preference if both isn't feasible. My frostgrave city is in a jungle ;)
