🕑 Added 2019-09-05 13:32:38 +0000 UTCOkay, so this month's menu is going to include one story and one story only: Buttfuck Buddies! More specifically, I'll be focusing on editing and posting Buttfuck Buddies Ch. 4 and then on writing Ch.5 right away.
Now, as far as BB 4 goes, during the preliminary editing phase I ended up adding a few paragraphs here and there, fleshing out a scene or two and generally adding stuff all over the place. Long story short, what initially was a 14k words chapter ended up pushing past 17k words! Needless to say, the actual editing couldn't get done during the writing of this additional stuff and having now 3k words more to edit is going to further slow down the whole polishing process, so yeah, there's that... Still, I'm happy with the new stuff and with the way the chapter looks as a whole now, both as a story in and of itself and as the first part of the 2 chapter finale to the Nick and Tessa story arch.
Naturally, the posting schedule is once again all up in the air due to these last minute additions, but I'm going to delve into the editing right away and I think I'll get a lot done through the coming weekend, so it's not too optimistic to say that the first Preview could be up and ready for posting at some point around Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
As I said, after Chapter 4 is done I'll move straight into Chapter 5, which I can already predict will be a big one too, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

That's very true, yes. But then again, I kinda get the feeling that mere word count would be at the bottom of the list of issues that a creative writing teacher would have with my stories!

Ya know, most Creative Writing instructors will tell you draft 2 should be draft 1 -10%, not +20% 😋. But I get it. This is an important chapter, and it needs to be done justice.
