Literally laughed so hard at that part. She didn't miss a beat or change a single intonation for that side commentary. And it was doubly hilarious bc I was just thinking the same thing! Totally killed the story's depressing vibe, but it was funny enough that I don't mind, LOL

Was confused at first, though it should have been obvious if I was paying attention. Took me entirely too long to realize that the narrator never saw the antagonist of the piece (for lack of better terms) for themselves, only had them described by their sister. The ending through me for a loop for a minute.
