Ooooooh yay! P3! This is a great series, so I'm glad to see more of it! And tbh, it REALLY gives me Yandere Witch vibes... But I love hearing her backstory, hearing how she used to be greatly revered by the world before they turned on her and drove her to her first kill. I'm also really intrigued by the idea that the world used to use her as something of an executioner, sending her impure souls to reap. THAT'S an interesting idea! And although it was only a minor detail, I sort of like the fact that the witch-hunter she killed apparently had a pure heart. It beats the cliche of the witch hunters just being mindless, heartless killing machines. I think it makes it more bittersweet to think that young man was truly good at heart, despite what he was trying to do. And, strange as it sounds, I always like characters who confess to enjoying hurting/killing others, because I definitely like thinking about that sort of mindset, how one can get so drunk off power after being powerless, and how killing can truly become thrilling. And it's even better, to me, when the character still holds that sentiment even though they are trying to work towards redemption and know now that what they did back then was wrong. I'm really wondering what she wants to do with us, and what her master plan is. Amazing work, T.W., you really have a great mind on you. You made an interesting plot and character and I am in complete awe of you for it! And the lore around the Runes are also interesting. It's cool (and sad) to see the effect they have on the Mistress. I'm honestly getting J/H vibes from this series too! Watching them temporarily take over and make her monstrous while she's trying so hard not to lose herself... it's good stuff (in a tragic way) And of course, DA did an AMAZING job with the voice, soft and sad, but also bitter and controlling. The shift was subtler here, but listening to her slide from melancholy to anger to sadism is GREAT. And the part where she starts to use those Runes, going into "echo mode" was cool as always. And the SFX coupled with the echoey voice was really eerie and epic!
