Ope, just realized that I, like an idiot, never commented on this one! I still like that, for once, we have a listener who asserts himself rather than just letting himself be pushed around all the time. It's no fun if they give in too easily! Watching him run off to force Yarah to chase after him was very satisfying, even if it didn't take him long to get all shy and blushy again LOL! "Seducing? No, that sounds too coercive. Coaxing?" LOL, this is literally every yandere ever and like 90% of DA's characters! I'm glad we finally got some listener backstory tho! But damn, this dude's caravan sucks for leaving him behind, like WTF?!?! Unless something happened to them, in which case, that's even scarier. And honestly, Yarah is so sweet and cute! I love how earnest she is, but how clueless she is about certain human behaviors (ex: cuddling while naked, vacation). That's honestly one of my favorite tropes: non-human characters being baffled by, or messing up, common human behaviors. But I'm kinda glad these 2 finally talked stuff out about the listener's captivity and the way Alessandra behaved. And altho I still don't necessarily like the non-con hypnotism for the listener's sake, I was interested to hear Yarah's perspective on why she thought it was a good idea (that the listener would feel safer, knowing just how powerful a lamia could be). Tho sadly, that plan totally backfired LOL "Not that I have experience in such practices!" Mmmm, sounds sus... LOL! But seriously, I am glad this guy isn't taking his captivity lying down. Slave or not, he has a point about borderline being a hostage, so I'm glad he has a chance to speak his mind and say as much. "People do stupid shit for sex." 😂 😂!! "Uhhh, what is shit?" 😂 😂 😂 😂 !!!! And I ope- I honestly did not realize she was planning on letting him go after 15 days! Now I'm really intrigued to see what will happen next... "Besides, aren't you on vacation?" 😂 😂 😂 This dude would have such an interesting story to tell his family about this wild vacation. Be careful what you wish for? 😂 But seriously, at the risk of sounding like some snobby literary critic, I like the themes of power and control in this part! Great work on the writing and characters, Game! And amazing performance, DA! I like the soft but clear voice you give Yarah, it's a nice balance between sweet but not too sweet. At least IMO, sorry if that didn't make any sense LOL!
