Dunno, maybe? He'd always make me memorize the multiplication table before I can play. But I'd have to memorize like x2 to x9 and it takes all day and by the end of the day, it's "too late" to play video games now so time for bed

PS1, wasn't even able to play with it much cuz my dad refused to hook it up to the tv for me. Also the only "retro" game I had in that console was Dino Crisis 2. Also had a 2D Side scroller Disney Hercules Game which I struggled to beat back then, but due to not having a memory card and my dad literally not willing to let me play it, I never beat the game lol

I have only played a little. I beat ocarina of time. There was a quick reference in the audio. Love that game beat it awhile back so good! Awesome set of games in here and when Nintendo 64 was mentioned with Super Mario world. So much nostalgia!

Ah yes, Mario Party 5. The one where you can coat the entire map in capsule spaces. Have you heard of Mario Party TV? It's a YouTube channel of 4 guys who play every Mario Party game and count up the total points to determine who's the best. There's lots of salt and rage, especially when the game will just give a player a Chain Chomp capsule :D

Iggle video was part of every giant Eagle I went to back when I was a kid. I used to rent some of the Mario Party games (5 was my favorite) Star Fox Assault, Wario World and Kirby Air Ride. There was some DVDs I wanted but we didn't have a DVD player until a couple years later so we were stuk with a VCR. Game Bros sounds awsome, the only experience I have with Mario Bros is the Mario Bros game that was on every Mario GBA game.

I can respect this point of view im happy there was at least someway to play this game in the US but with Rondo of blood being more accessible today I feel its still superior.

Iggle Video, huh? Was it a local business? What games would you get? The last time I ever rented a GameCube game, it was Super Mario Sunshine. I got as far as Petey Piranha :D My childhood hometown had a game store called “Game Bros”. Not only could you rent games, but they even had a Mario Bros arcade game. I’m talking the original Mario Bros, where you’re confined to one screen with a POW block and enemies coming out of pipes. I don’t remember when it went out of business, but it was replaced with a store that sells fishing gear.

Rondo of Blood ran on the TurboGraphX16’s peripheral CD drive. A console that not many people owned, and an add-on that requires owning said console. Also, Rondo of Blood was only ever released in Japan. Dracula X was alone in the American market, so it deserves to be judged on its own merits alone. Comparing the two games is fruitless if one of them is inaccessible.

My older brother used to play Super Nintendo games but he was never into Castlevania, Zelda or Kirby. Man I remember those video rental stores, Giant Eagle used to have one called iggle Video where my family used to rent Gamecube and PS2 games for a week.

Only Castlevania game I ever owned was Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest. I owned Zelda 2: the Adventure of Link on the NES, and Link’s Awakening when I was older. The last Kirby game I ever got was Kirby 64: the Crystal Shards. How about you all? Also, the eating/drinking tags are there in case people hate the sound of that in their ears.
