And since Patreon for whatever reason won't save my longer comments anymore, here's part 2. Special praise edition. DA did an amazing job at voicing so many different characters in this episode. I think it was four? The sisters and both mothers. And Marley, once again, truly amazing writing! There was so much to unpack here and it was all so subtly done. I could honestly imagine this as a kind of TV series or something! It all feels so organic and well thought out. I can't wait for the next episode!

So after listening again, here's my comment on part 3. I felt like I needed to listen again actually cause there was a lot going on here. I love the subtetly that the lore is presented with. No overexplaining or info dumps, just natural dialog that at the same time informs us about the world the characters live in. Wonderful work, Marley! We also learned a lot about the relationship of the sisters and how they try to protect each other. This whole atonement thing seems really ominous, great way of building up expectations to that. Especially since the fear eater is way more influential than we could have assumed. Their motivation with some sort of ascension (to Godhod?) is also interesting. I'm curious to know more about that. I really hope there's another way for Veda to save her little light tho. Her dying to protect us would be so sad. I've really come to like this character a lot. Then the flashback to little lights past and their terrible mother. Brilliantly voiced by DA. You could really feel the venom in her voice. Also, again great way of giving us information without info dumping. Apparently their mothers partner who isn't their real father has been abusive towards them. And their mother of course didn't believe their child and only got angry at them for "lying". This kind of situation with an abuser and their own parent not believing them and putting their partner above them is terrifying and unfortunately far too realistic. Which was why it was very pleasing to hear Veda punish the fucker. The scene after where Veda made her horns disappear and managed to cheer her little light up with her magic was so wonderful and heartwarming. I could really feel how special their connection is.

Ohhh yay! I was just thinking about this! One of the first audios I listened to! I really really enjoyed the first two! Edit: Oh shit......the feels.....
