You should start to see results in one to two days. Sometimes you can also find this stuff at you local big hardware store. Remember to apply it to all of your house plants as directed.

Everytime I hear about someone's fruit fly problem it turns out that it was never a fruit fly problem. Did you recently purchase new house plants or bring house plants back indoors or bring potting soil indoors from where you stored it outdoors? If yes to any of those you have fungus gnats. Water systemic insecticide like imidacloprid into your house plants soil and take outdoor potting soil bags back outside. I can relate to being irritated by bugs because I have an irrational fear of them, that's why I hate it when people try to convince others to eat them for some bullshit reason. During the Summer we get a lot of Nats and have to put fruit fly traps in the windows. we get thousand leggers all year because we have trees in the back (that we didn't grow) and we used to get Stinkbugs strangely during the Winter.
