It's the type of high society english vocabulary used in a lot of 19th century and early 20th century books. the main character of the story talks like a HP lovecraft protagonist.

You know what as a non native speaker that last audio was quite the english lesson. That took me a fair bit longer to listen to because i had to stop and google some of the words lol didnt have an english lesson like that since i left school.

The groundskeeper sounds like a mix between Mother Miranda and the reaper. The ending made me think it was gonna be like the Mortuary assistant but before it was about to get interesting it ended.

Why does the character in the last story talk like a lovecraft protagonist? I get really irritated when someone's vocabulary is overly complicated english, I'm like bruh you're writing an online ghost story, you're not in 18th century europe.
