Got a little announcement for you all. We've had a few folks ask us if we plan on doing anything around emails/Q&A style stuff, and guess what? We do! Today we're announcing a new monthly podcast for all of our patrons. We'll be recording live using Discord's Stage feature, then posting the archive as a podcast after the fact for everyone to enjoy. These will be recorded at the end of each month, so our first one will be coming at the end of July. Stay tuned for announcements on where to post your questions, and in the meantime, get your Q's ready to be A'd!
On another note, we ran a poll yesterday about how to handle our shout outs for the Mission Control tier, and people overwhelmingly voted in support of the monthly shoutout stream solution, so that's what we're gonna do! We're going to create a new monthly show where everyone at the Mission Control tier and up will be able to vote on what we play, and that is where Mission Control folks will see their name up on screen for everyone to see, so stay tuned for more on that, too! Seriously, stay tuned. There's a lot of cool stuff coming.
Lastly, I know I promised folks photos of myself all decked out in my outdoorsman garb when I returned from my Yampa River excursion. Let no one say I am not a man of my word. Enjoy.

You can disregard my comment, other patrons brought something to my attention that answers and nullifies my complaint; keep up the great work y’all! ——— Question about Nextlander content not wrapped around Patreon support: I very rarely catch the Twitch streams live or, if I do, almost never can stay for the full duration, but I am supporting y’all here at the $10 tier — because I absolutely NEED all the podcasts — however, your Patreon doesn’t really seem to account for the fact that a sizable portion of your content is coming from those streams and for which your patrons are not seeing any benefit toward ad-free content. I love you all, and want to support you the most I can afford, and perhaps it makes me sound entitled (I dunno), but I feel for $10 a month I should be getting all Nextlander content ad-free regardless of source; so is there any way comp twitch subs also be included for patrons of at least the $10 tier and higher, please? Over the next few months, since you’re all still just taking off, I’ll be considering my $10 a monthly donation, but eventually it’s going to start feeling like it’s a subscription and one that will feel disproportionally expensive if I can’t enjoy all content ad-free. Thanks in advance if you’ve taken the time to read and consider what I’m saying here.

My head canon is that Alex sent this whilst paddling as he suddenly discovered a phone signal after rounding a corner on the river.
Went to vernal last year for some camping and ended up on a trail that ended with cliff jumping into a lake off a rockface covered in dino fossils. Pretty rad spot!
