Vinny, once you’re past the initial hump of getting a good garden set up and you know what you’re doing the yield to work ratio of getting those tomatoes goes way up. I feel like I really don’t do a ton of work on my garden anymore and I still get 8+ foot tall tomato plants that yield 15+ lbs of tomatoes per plant. So many I have to give a lot of them away. I guess a lot of it is just knowing what you’re doing and giving it all a little bit of attention every day so it doesn’t become overwhelming. I would highly recommend doing the initial work of setting up a good raised bed garden (with good cedar so it lasts) and that will save you so much time over the next couple of decades of gardening.
