Dr. Judge, Private Eye

This honestly sounds like a perfect job. The one thing I can't stand about service/retail is manufactured work for downtime. I mean I wish the customers didn't treat us like some kind of obstacle or adversary, but honestly? If every manager who thought "if you got time to lean, you got time to clean" was an actual piece of advice just went into the sea, I think the jobs would get better.

Just wanted to answer some of your firefighter questions: - I’m a full time firefighter/emt for a major city in TX - We work a 24 hours on/48 hours off shift schedule - Stations in my city make anywhere from 2-3 to 14-15 runs a shift based on their location - 95% of our runs are medical. We show up on the fire truck and provide patient care until the ambulance arrives (or we cancel them if we determine they’re not needed) - Actual fires are few and far between but we train on a regular basis - We eat, sleep, watch movies, play video games to pass the time at the station. I love it. For as long as the shifts are it’s the only job I’ve had where I never find myself watching the clock.
