この記事のタイトルは「低迷の時」となっていますが、実際には私たちが経験した苦難を長々と語るつもりはありません。なぜなら、それは退屈ですし、あまり意味もないからです。簡単に説明すると、クレジットカード会社によるitchやSteamといったプラットフォームへの圧力の影響で、7月以降ずっと大きな規約変更への対応に追われ、危機的な状況にありました。そのため、この2か月間の更新速度は大幅に低下しました。というのも、itchのゲームページを申請して復旧したり、新しい規約に合わせてゲーム内容を修正したり、Steamの審査に提出したりと、多くの時間を費やしていたからです。ですが朗報もあります。現在、itchのゲームページは復旧し、ゲームもSteamの審査を通過しました。今はストアページを制作中で、まもなく公開できる予定です。

The title of this article is “The Low Point,” but I don’t actually intend to spend much space describing the hardships we went through, because that would be dull and not very meaningful. To put it briefly, due to credit card companies cracking down on platforms like itch and Steam, we’ve been caught in a crisis since July, scrambling to adapt to sudden major rule changes. This has greatly slowed our update pace over the past two months, as we spent a lot of time appealing to restore our itch game page, adjusting the game content to meet the new platform policies, and submitting the game for Steam review. The good news is that our itch page has now been restored, the game has passed Steam’s review, and we’re currently preparing the store page, which will be going public soon.

虽然这篇文章的标题名叫做低谷时刻，但是其实我并不打算花很多篇幅在描述我们经历的苦难上，因为这很无趣，也没有什么实际的意义。简要的说明一下，因为信用卡公司对itch、steam等平台的打击，这导致我们自7月其到现在都处于忙于应对平台规则发声巨变的危机中，这使我们这两个月的更新速度大幅度放缓，因为我们花了很多时间在申诉恢复我们的itch游戏页面、修改游戏内容以符合平台新的规则，以及将游戏送交steam审核中。不过好消息是，目前我们的itch游戏页面已经恢复，游戏也已经在steam过审，目前我们正在制作商店页面，不久后就会公开。
Chapter 1
ゲーム開発雑談3でも触れましたが、「他のゲームと単純に『Hイベントの数』で比較すれば、うちのゲームは圧倒的に少なく見えると思います。でも、1つのHイベントごとのプレイ時間は、他のゲームの何十倍にもなるように設計されています。」 ということです。
シミュレーションゲームとして、私たちは1つのシーンにできる限り多くの変化を盛り込みます。例えば、リビングでテレビを見るイベントでは、少なくとも4〜5種類の自由な操作選択肢（テレビ番組の切り替えや様々なやり取りなど）を用意し、それらの操作から数十に及ぶ分岐イベントが派生します。さらに、これらのイベントのために複数のHアニメーションを制作する予定で（現在すでに3つ完成済み）、それらを組み込んでいきます。
しかし、全体的に見れば、これはあくまで「リビングでの1つのイベント」にすぎません。これが先に述べた 「Hイベント数が圧倒的に少ない」 という意味なのです。

In Game Development Talk 3, I mentioned that “So if you compare our game to others just by the raw number of H-events,then yes, we have “shockingly few.”But each one is designed to provide dozens of times more interactive playtime than what you'd get from a typical linear event.”
As a simulation game, our approach is to pack as much variation as possible into a single scene. For example, in the living room TV-watching event, we include at least 4–5 different interactive options, such as switching TV channels or engaging in various interactions with the Mio. These interactions then branch out into dozens of different sub-events. On top of that, we plan to create multiple distinct H-animations for these events (three have already been completed).
But in the end, all of this still counts as just one living room event. And that’s exactly what I meant earlier when I said our game has “an overwhelmingly small number of H-events.”

在游戏开发杂谈3中，我有提到“如果拿其他游戏的H事件数量来和我们进行比较，我们的H事件数量肯定是压倒性的少的，但是每个事件的可游玩时长会是其他游戏的数十倍” ——作为一个模拟经营游戏，我们会在一个场景中加入尽可能多的变化，例如在客厅看电视事件中，我们至少会加入4到5种不同的自由操作选项，例如切换电视节目、和Mio的各种互动，而这些操作会延申出数十个不同的分支事件，我们计划为这些事件绘制多个不同的H动画（目前已经完成了3个），但是总的来说，这就是一个客厅场景事件，这就是我前面说的“H事件数量压倒性的少” 的含义。

最初の体験版を公開してから、すでに14か月が経ちました。私は時々、自分に問いかけます——「今までの進捗に満足しているか？」と。そして毎回、心を落ち着けて考えます。この1年で自分は何をやってきたのか。たくさんのアニメーションを描き、新しい背景シーンを複数制作し、いくつか面白い機能を実装しました……。
1年という期間を考えれば、この作業量はむしろ期待以上です。大半のプロジェクトは14か月の時点で、私たちほど多くのコンテンツや、多言語翻訳、マルチプラットフォームでの同時更新、自動アップデートといった便利な機能を持つことはできません。
私はできるだけ多くの時間をゲーム開発と磨き上げに費やしたいと考えています。そのため当初は、自前のアカウント、自動更新、クラウドセーブといった仕組みを整え、長期的に追い続けてくれるプレイヤーの体験を最大限に最適化するつもりでした。さらにアーリーアクセスの販売モデルと組み合わせる計画でした。しかし、クレジットカード会社による業界への打撃により、長期開発のリスクはますます高まりました。itchは今もなおNSFWゲームのインデックスを復旧しておらず、そのせいで私たちは多くの宣伝の機会を失いました。結果として、こうした方針では長期的なリスクを減らすことができず、私たちは元々の計画に立ち返り、大きな流入を持つプラットフォームでできるだけ早く発売する必要に迫られました。
一部の人から見れば、これは「遠回りをした」ように映るかもしれません。もしこれらの機能を作らなければ、2〜3か月早く発売できたでしょう。しかし、それでもこれらの機能はプレイヤーに大きな利便性をもたらしました。想像してみてください——もし私たちがこうした対応をしなかったら、Android端末やMacbookのユーザーはこのゲームを遊ぶことすらできませんでした。もし多言語翻訳の同時更新を行わなかったら、すべてのプレイヤーは日本語版しか遊べず、大半の人は内容を理解できなかったでしょう。私はこれらの努力を無意味だとは思いません。少なくともそのおかげで、多言語・多端末のプレイヤーが私たちのゲームを楽しんでくれているコメントを目にすることができたのですから。

It’s been 14 months since the first demo of our game was released. I often ask myself: “Am I satisfied with the progress so far?” Each time, I sit down and reflect—what have I accomplished in the past year? I created many animations, built several new background scenes, and developed some interesting features…
For just one year, the amount of work done has actually exceeded expectations. Most projects at their 14th month would not have as much content as we do, nor convenient features like multi-language support, cross-platform synchronized updates, or automatic updates.
I also wanted to dedicate as much time as possible to developing and polishing the game. That’s why, at first, we planned to build our own account system, automatic updates, cloud saves, and other frameworks to optimize the long-term experience for players who keep following the project—together with an Early Access sales model. But because the game industry was hit hard by credit card companies, the risks of long-term development have grown higher and higher. itch still hasn’t restored indexing for NSFW games, and that has cost us many opportunities for exposure. As a result, this approach can no longer reduce the risks of long-term development, and we’ve had to return to our original plan—releasing the game as soon as possible on platforms with greater traffic.
To some, this might look like “taking a detour.” If we hadn’t built these features, we could have launched two or three months earlier. But these features still brought great convenience to players. Just imagine—if we hadn’t done this, Android and Macbook users wouldn’t even be able to play the game. If we hadn’t implemented multi-language simultaneous updates, everyone would be stuck with only the Japanese version, and the majority of players wouldn’t understand the content at all. I don’t consider these efforts meaningless. At the very least, they allowed me to see comments from players of different languages and platforms who are enjoying our game, and that makes it worthwhile.

自游戏第一个体验版发布至今已经14个月，我时常会问自己：“我对目前为止的进度满意吗？”，每次我都会静下心来思考，这一年我做了什么——画了很多动画，制作了多个新的场景背景，制作了一些有趣的功能……
对于一年的时间而言，这些工作量甚至是超预期的，大多数项目在第14个月无法做到像我们一样多的内容、拥有多语言翻译、多端同步更新、自动更新等便捷功能。
我也希望有尽可能多的时间去开发和打磨游戏，所以我们原本打算建立起自己的账号、自动更新、云存档等体系来尽可能优化玩家长期追更的体验，再配合上抢先体验的销售模式。但是因为游戏行业遭到信用卡公司的打击，使得长期开发风险变得越来越高，itch甚至至今都没有恢复NSFW游戏的索引，这使得我们失去了很多展现的机会，所以这种做法现在并不能减少长期开发的风险，我们不得不回到最初的计划，尽快在拥有较大流量的平台发售游戏。
尽管在部分人看来，这是“走了一些弯路”——如果我们不做这些功能，我们可以早两到三个月发售，但是这些功能依然带给了大家相当大的便利性，想象一下，如果我们不做这些的话，如果你是安卓端或者macbook用户，那么你就与这款游戏无缘，如果我们不做多语言翻译同步更新，所有玩家就只能玩日语版本的游戏，届时绝大多数玩家将看不懂游戏内容。我不会将这些努力视为是毫无意义的，至少这让我看到了许多不同语言、不同终端玩家享受我们的游戏乐趣的评论。
Chapter 3
気持ちがどん底に落ちても、創作は続けなければなりません。
私たちは珍しい1920×1080の解像度を採用し、さらに大量の手描きアニメーションや高精度の背景で表現力を強化するという挑戦を選びました。その結果、他のゲームプロジェクトではあまり直面しない多くの課題にぶつかることになります。
例えば、豊富なイベントを盛り込んだシーンを作るためには、実際には複数の異なる角度の背景を用意し、その上に静止画やキーフレームを描き込む必要があります。一見すると普通の工程のように聞こえますが、実際にはほとんどのゲームが1280×720以下の解像度で、アニメーションがなかったり、せいぜい2～3枚の簡単なアニメーションにとどまっています。さらに背景を描かない、あるいは画面を小さなコマ割りに分けて作画量を減らす方法を取るのが一般的です。
1920×1080の解像度は1280×720の2.25倍のピクセル数を持ちます。つまり、私たちは作画精度を最低でも2倍に高めなければなりません。さらに1つのアニメーションに8～12枚以上のフレームを描いており、これは静止画や2～3枚のアニメーションと比べて少なくとも3倍の労力です。背景に関しても、背景を描かない方法や小コマ分割の方法に比べると、約5倍の枚数を描く必要があります。可遊内容の量を他のゲームと同程度に保つなら、作画作業の量は簡単に他のゲームの約10倍に達します。それに加えて、高解像度や大量のアニメーションはゲーム進行設計やパフォーマンス最適化の面でもさらなる作業を生み出し、非常に大きな挑戦となっています。
今は5か月ほどでゲームの必要なフローを完成させなければならず、その重圧は計り知れません。時には自分に本当にやり遂げられるのかと落ち込むこともあります。
しかし、アップデートのたびに「新しい面白さを見つけた」と言ってくれる声を目にするたび、そうした達成感はアクセス数や売上データよりもずっと生き生きと感じられます。私たちは、自分たち自身も面白いと思えるゲームを作りたい。それこそが、数々の難関に挑み続ける原動力です。
そして朗報として、美術素材の制作進行はこの間も遅れていません。実際にはまだ実装していない素材もかなり溜まっており、10月からは更新速度が元に戻るはずです。そのときには新しいコンテンツを素早く実装できるかもしれません。

Even when my spirits hit rock bottom, creation still has to continue.
We chose the uncommon resolution of 1920×1080, along with the challenge of enhancing expressiveness through many hand-drawn animations and high-precision backgrounds. By doing so, we inevitably ran into problems that most other game projects never face.
For example, in order to create a scene full of events, we actually need to prepare multiple backgrounds from different angles, then draw static frames and keyframes on top of them. On the surface, this might sound like a standard workflow, but in reality, most games run at a resolution lower than 1280×720, have no animation at all, or at most just 2–3 simple frames. Many also avoid drawing backgrounds entirely or cut the screen into smaller panels to reduce the workload.
A resolution of 1920×1080 contains 2.25 times as many pixels as 1280×720. That means our drawing precision has to increase by at least a factor of two. Each animation we make has at least 8–12 frames, which is about three times the work of static art or a 2–3 frame animation. Compared to projects that don’t draw backgrounds or rely on small panel divisions, we need about five times as many backgrounds. To keep the same amount of playable content as other games, our art workload easily reaches about ten times that of most other projects. On top of that, higher resolution and more animation also translate to more work in gameplay design and performance optimization—making this an extremely demanding challenge.
Right now, we need to finish the essential flow of the game within about five months. Imagine the amount of pressure that creates—it’s no wonder I sometimes feel discouraged about whether I can really pull it off.
But each time we update, I see people commenting that they discovered something fun in the game. That sense of accomplishment feels far more alive than numbers on traffic or sales. What we want is to create a game that even we ourselves would find fun—and that is the true driving force that keeps us tackling these challenges.
The good news is that our progress on drawing art assets hasn’t slowed down during this time. In fact, we’ve built up quite a lot of material that hasn’t been implemented yet. From October onward, the update pace should return to normal, and at that point we may be able to roll out new content quickly.

即使心情跌入低谷，创作也依旧得继续。
我们选择了不常见的1920x1080大小的分辨率，以及靠大量手绘动画和高精度的背景来增强表现力这种创新，就会遇到很多别的游戏项目没遇到的难题。
举个例子，为了制作一个有丰富事件的场景，我们实际上得准备数个不同角度的背景，然后我们要在这些背景上进行静态帧和关键帧的作画。
这听起来好像只是正常的流程，但是绝大部分游戏的分辨率小于1280x720，没有动画，或者只有2到3帧的简单动画，而且会采取不画背景，又或者将画面分割为多个小分镜的方案来减少作画量。
1920x1080分辨率的像素量是1280x720分辨率的2.25倍，这意味着我们作画的精度也得等比例的提升至少两倍；我们给每个动画绘制了至少8到12帧，这也是静态或者2到3帧简单动画的至少3倍工作量；相比起不画背景或者采用小分镜的方案，我们需要多画5倍的背景。我们要保持和其他游戏同等数量的可玩内容，那么我们在作画方面的工作量就会轻松达到其他游戏的十倍左右，不仅如此，更高的分辨率、更多的动画也意味着在游戏流程设计和性能优化方面更多的工作，这是非常有挑战性的。
而现在我们得保证在5个月左右的时间内完成游戏必要的流程，想象一下这是一件压力多么大的工作，有时候我也不禁会为自己能否做到感到沮丧。
但是每次更新后我都能看到很多人说发现了游戏中有趣的地方，这种成就感远比流量和销售额的数据要鲜活的多，我们想要做一个自己也会觉得有趣的游戏，这才是我们坚持挑战各种难关的源动力。
不过，好消息是这段时间绘制各种美术素材的进度并没有被拖慢，我们实际上累积了不少没实装的素材，从10月起更新的速度应该会恢复正常，到时候也许可以快速实装一些新的内容。

計画が狂ってしまったことで、私たちは今後の予定を改めて立て直さざるを得ませんでした。例えば、当初は今年12月にDlsiteで発売する予定でしたが、2か月の遅れが発生したため、この計画はもはや実現不可能となり、発売時期を26年3月へと延期しました。Steamでの発売はそこからさらに数か月遅れる見込みです。
正直に言えば、26年3月に延期したとしても依然として大きなプレッシャーがあります。しかし、発売時にできるだけ多くの驚きをお届けできるよう、全力で開発に取り組んでいきます。

After our plans were disrupted, we had no choice but to reorganize some of our future arrangements. For example, we originally planned to release on Dlsite this December, but with a two-month delay, that schedule was no longer feasible. We have therefore postponed the release to March 2026, with the Steam version expected to come a few months later.
To be honest, even with the release pushed to March 2026, the pressure is still quite high. However, we will do our best to make sure the game delivers enough surprises when it finally launches.

老实说即使是推迟至26年3月发售，这个时间仍然有较大压力，但是我们会尽可能努力使游戏发售时内容有足够的惊喜。

I got the game here but if you launch on steam I'm getting it on steam too, one thing some game devs are doing is launching a "safer" version on steam / itch and making making the "non-safe" part as a mod or separeted patch, like a dlc

This is hands down the best early-access game I've played. The devs are great at rolling out steady updates and fixes without dropping the ball on quality. It actually makes you feel good about supporting it. I've run into so many others that just update whenever they feel like it, or just vanish completely.
