just at chapter 61 or 62 here. i am doing a grammar edit refresh at 5 chapters a week. when i get caught up i will add 4 chapters a month. i need to refresh the story in my head since it has been so long

i will alter the text to show quests without rewards listed depend on how 'well' the quest was completed. also that the MC tried his best to make the best alter and could only get very rare. and that he hopes to get another similar scroll reward

Also hard pass on using the scroll on a simple altar. I'd be saving that for making something legendary as if he really pours himself into the work he can make epic plans with enough effort from what we've seen.

C50... Sale, sale, sale! Sell that thing. Given his ability will just grow; and second why would you want to draw attention if you don't have the levels to defend it...which our MC does not. All I can see now is a MC swirling the toilet bowl... it's inevitable he loses... do I really want to watch him drown?!

Town needs healers. If the garrison is coming from a fight they lost... they'll likely not be in the best shape. I haven't read about any true healers in town?!

Ch 41.... seeing the gnome relationship between cook and Order Mage; think he's got enough 'sprouts' to start recruiting via connections instead of just the AH. Word of mouth will always be the truest form of advertising. Surely among his newest followers...they will know of others? Save the AH bids for the exceptions.

needs a perk to upgrade or improve existing housing. I recall a few ch ago; folks asking for improvements to their homes but he brushed it off... that'll eventually come back to bite... but rebuilding the town from start every rarity seems extremely tedious. Perhaps a Class/Role perk?

Rather think he's screwed on the home-front no matter what. Jeasmin's skills- whatever she has are going to be filled with admin stuff, after this stint, even if he finds a replacement...and then he'll eventually be micromanaged by her! Perhaps she can 'sprout' to use this as leverage?

Ch 36. Thanks for sharing. Town Hall was almost anti-climactic. It's still a milestone, if a small one. I'm curious he didn't immediately look to what it takes to upgrade again which could influence the NPC's he needs to hire. I can just see city planner demanding a 'real' city get completed in X amount of time, etc.

Chpt 34 (I'll have to do this to make the commentary mean something as you don't post per chapter)... He really needs to hire a city manager...he's in the clouds when he needs to be on the ground... or at least an assistant or 3 to handle the day to day shit.

next bargain he makes with mods should include a direct bug/buff to him being in the town/city... If another forces him out then there should be a huge deficit in stats/perks to every building he 'imagined' and built... In the wider world it would give more protection to crafters... losing them could lose perks associated with their creations... but to cross off the primary architect... so much more.

i just have a region map right now to jog my memory but a town map is important too! once the city planner arrives in the next wave of NPCs from the auction I will work on it! that little dwarf is going to be a handful, "Do it my way Tallis or I am outta here!"

If you haven't already... should be making a map of the town as the story unfolds- for accuracy. I know MC keeps putting up buildings here and there; could see you trying to make one down the road (if you haven't already); but having to reference all the tidbits you've written will be a migraine if you don't start maintaining one soon.

Yeah he isn’t too well versed in game mechanics and learning as he is going. On the reset his current level will be frozen for 30 game days while the early play players get free reign. I am goin to reveal the level of the NPCs in the next few chapters which should be fun. If you remember there was a player character that robbed Curraens family when they travelled to the village and killed their dog…he is coming to town soon as well

I am worried about his leveling or lack of. If the average right now is 60 then he is severely under leveled and at risk of being taken advantage of. The reset will help but he should make plans to rectify that once the game goes public or be at the mercy of players and trolls. I hope he realizes that without having his town utterly destroyed. Maybe jaesmin being killed by a random player would open his eyes to the danger.

Hi Geoffrey, two new chapters for town builder due to be completed on Sunday for Town Builder. One will be posted on royalroad and the other just here. I am trying to get 10 chapters up on Starship Engineer before getting ten chapters ahead on this story. The plan is to have 10 advanced chapters here before the end of October.
